Nerf the crutch survivor perks, and watch the survivors escape rate take a nosedive.

Bt is broken. Period. You shouldn't be able to bodyblock with it. I never said anything about DS. UB isn't situational if you pair it with DS. It can completely turn a game around.

anyone who believes survivors have it rough needs a wake up call
0 -
agreed. Survivor isn't exactly easy (atleast for me) but it isn't hard.
1 -
If you get hit with DS, you know that survivor wasnโt progressing the game.
0 -
Ok... fair enough
0 -
dead hard is easily baitable, dont see the problem here, unbreakable is the worst meta perk, you just dont slug, easy stuff
the real problem is when you face a locker main, imagine getting hit with a ds,and then head on,and then 10 flashbang grenades in a row
0 -
As I said, survivors are nothing without dab hard.
1 -
No it wonโt.
You know what will continue to happen though? You will continue to cry about it.
Youโll move on to โNow can survivors just stop running!โ Instead.
2 -
So what you want is to make it fully, completely and only the killer's game, on a loose suggestion that 'maybe we'll balance it again at some indeterminate point after'.
Sounds totally reasonable, and not like a stereotypical forum killer at all.
0 -
The game SHOULD be heavily killer sided.
The killers are the ones with weapons, correct?
So it makes no sense that the game heavily favors survivors.
The game should be heavily killer sided, to the point where survivors would need to use a lot of teamwork to win.

Other people below your original post brought up DS. Not everything is about your original post. Sounds like you're not reading the entire thread.
1 -
That is what happens when killers rely on noed, camping and tunneling to win. Eventually they rank up and then they come here complaining about survivors because they lost
0 -
If you want to go with 'realism', four people can easily wrestle down one. Imagine David just punching Deathslinger and snapping his neck.
2 -
What if there was an experiment ran where all of the meta perks on both sides were not used? Like I've been using mettle of man, iron maiden and other underrated perks and I've been having so much fun!
0 -
I don't think it would happen but I have suggested for only one day no perks or add ons on both sides.
2 -
I do not use noed. Also NOED is honestly fine considering most of the time survivors play in an SWF, meaning it's not an issue unless the survivors are randoms
0 -
That's not what I said at all. Are you seriously trying a strawman here?
Read the words, try to understand their actual meaning, imagine the possibilities. I've already spent my patience quota for the day.
1 -
That is what you said. Maybe you didn't mean to say it, or you misread something I wrote when you agreed with it.

If you're losing people because of iron will, the problem is not iron will
1 -
Personally, I used to get 4K or a kill whatever that is not 4 survived.
But since 2022. At least 70% of my killer match is 4 survived.
1 -
Well actually.. I main spirit and Iron Will can and often is a complete pain in the ass.
4 -
Eh, I don't main her but hardly have problems with sound tracking (in general too, not only with her. Breathing sounds/grass scratching/footsteps...)
0 -
Have you ever played her against an Iron Will? With the removal of fathers glasses itโs even more annoying to deal with them.
1 -
I don't main her but I do play her often. Might be an unpopular opinion but I'm happy with her current state. Sure against stronger teams now you'll need a stronger build than what you'd need before, but I don't think she's in a bad state at all, regardless of IW
0 -
3 or 4 survivors with IW means you just lose if they know what they're doing. Source: I main her. And yea i can track just fine but there are many areas with no grass and footstep sounds. Tracking via breathing is only possible when they're not injured (against IW). You can just use short bursts but chasing with 110 is an absolute pain in the ass against good survivors and a mis-phase often means the survivor reaches the pallet. I won't say she needs buffs but she's definitely not fun to play anymore and i actually have higher killrates with lower tier killers than her. AND i haven't seen a single good spirit since the nerf. She is so easy to loop nowadays and the 50/50s are mostly in survivors favour since you can hear her but she can't hear you often times.
Maybe i should note that i only play her with brown and yellow add ons (and sometimes green recharge) because thats the ones which are allowed in tournaments mostly.

3 others are while youre still chasing that survivor who just reached a save loop. DS is still so strong especially in the current meta which basically forces killers to hard tunnel someone out as early as possible on most maps. Pressuring everyone is a myth against survivors who know what theyre doing and who play with boons. If you play against some chill ones who open chests and do totems in between, yea maybe it works, but not against the survivors i have to play against with my mains (Spirit and Wraith).
I don't get the hype for BT though. 12 seconds isn't long most of the time and even you get a BT hit they still have a downside from it and they can't make the same amount of distance as they can do after a DS stun. This perk can be basekit imo.

Nerf pallets.

I'm gonna get half the forum on me but I honestly dont understand the hate for CoH. Yeah players can heal themselves IF they escape from you. The survivors only get to heal if the killer didnt win the chase. The survivors that are not being chased would get heals from other survivors even without CoH plus they are wasting time going to the other side of the map to heal instead of doing gens or unhooking.
Shadow step seems more efficient to me as a survivor, it's easier to lose the killer and go back to doing gens, but thats just me.
2 -
2 kills, 2 escapes was a balanced result. Or you think you should 4k the games, because you play blight? It looks like the matchmaking made a good job this time.
You didn't pip, it happens.

I played way better than they did but bons denied me too many downs I tracked everyone but as soon as I did reach them they healed a health state 3 swf players everyone is using COH is not fair butt the game often gives 0 pip it's a ######### system that doesn't know what it wants from you as a killer I even had 3 kills a lot of times without getting a pip and I played correctly hooked everyone more it's fine I don't care about kills for me more kills means a higher chance to pip, you said 2k is balanced so then the game should give you 1 pip for it right? Nope a killer needs more than that so don't go around telling everyone 2k is balanced because you need 3-4k every game to climb ranks but COH is unbalanced and abusable my ruin gets cleansed in 2 seconds while 3 survivors can re use a boon as much as they want ? #########

Devs are survivor mains and they are bad at their own game.
1 -
Eat a snickers man.
4 -
No, they don't. Many killers vastly overestimate how many SWFs they go up against; most players (more than 50%, the last time I saw data on it) solo queue, and then it's steep drop to a full 4-man (which I think is less than 10%?). Out of those, not all are on comms. Out of the ones on comms, not all are Seal Team 6, and so on.
It's one of those things where it's easy to point the finger and blame, because there's often no way to confirm except your own gut feeling. It was a tough match, it's a SWF. The survivors played well, had to be on comms. And so on. I've played in several games where the killer has hurled abuse at "SWF trash" (even when they got 3+ kills!) or some variation thereof, and in fact we were just a bunch of solo queue players who played a decent game.
2 -
SWF is one of, if not THE most overrated thing in Dbd. I played in a regular 4man for almost a year and i'm playing in a comp team now, we still get killed a lot of times by better killers. If you can't stand in chase, no amount of comms will help you. If you have bad RNG or ######### maps, no comms will help you. If 4 solo players have game sense and experience and know how to loop, they will beat the killer. Of course being on comms is an advantage compared to a full solo team but i've beaten a multitude of 4mans because coordination like a competitive team is not as easy as people think against a good, sweaty killer. SWF on comms is not the problem, the problems are perks like DH or CoH and ######### maps and the fact that a 4man can stack their OP meta perks.

More like nerf all these and watch people find new perks to cry about , it doesn't matter what you do I could have zero perks and I'll still click my flashlight and not give a ######### about it, maybe one day people will learn to accept when they made mistakes when they lose a match, I could sit down and nerf every perk killers complain about and next week there's gonna be a new list of perks that come up as problematic, it's more like "I can't be at fault for ever losing, nothing I do is wrong and I should be able to kill the survivors without using my brain because Its not fair that once I ready up as a killer I'm not automatically awarded free kills without trying"

Dead hard is fine. Quit crying about it already.

Survivor meta builds will move to fast vault+ Ds+ adrenaline+ prove thyself and built to last. And swf will continue to abuse offerings and game design issues.
0 -
I agree. Maps really are the big big issue with Killer vs Survivor discrepancies.
0 -
Yeah bruh just get rid of all survivors abilities ๐. You clearly have been getting bullied way too much. Take a break and don't post ridiculousness just cause u prob faced some survivors better than you.
1 -
This is absurd.
0 -
Lol, seems like u are new to the game, everything can be countered, if u got brains
0 -
When killer chasing for to long, about what distance u talking about, if any way he reaches u????? I think I living in another world and DH doesn't give a good distance, just only make possible SOMETIME dodge killers hit
0 -
If you cant use DH in an effective way you arent using it right, not trying to be mean but it's a insanely strong perk. Against any basic attack killer it allows you to correct a slight mistake at loops or even allows you to reach a pallet/window you normally wouldn't without it.
DH physically gives you more distance than just running, its basically a mini dash which is why it's not a very fair perk as you can use it whenever to reach a pallet/window
1 -
Yeah, tell me about it, especially when dumb pallet nead a right angle to be dropped, bull trash xD

I'm a nurse main and even I'm not complaining about Dead Hard. Just bait it out, the devs have other problems to worry about; MMR and hackers come to mind.
In short, git gud.

1. Stop crutch shaming, crutches help people walk. ๐
2. Seriously though, nerf a bunch of perks on either side and the stats would change significantly, that doesn't make those perks bad, just shows that DbD is a very perk-centric game.
1 -
Honestly true majority of the times I go there I win or at least don't get completely shut out I think maps should vary but most of them are survivor sided which I hope these maps get the Haddonfield treatment
