Who would the worst possible existing killer to add to DbD be?
Comments
-
Dude no one cares about Fnaf lol, he was talking about Nightmare on elm street. Just take your time to read things from now on
2 -
Btw no one ever took fnaf serious compared to other movies you stated, like Evil dead, the first movie wasn't even a comedy, the second one which was basically a revision of evil dead one was completely comedic horror. You should watch the movies before talking about them
0 -
Oh....because he has poor fashion sense. I can see why.
1 -
lol why you being so toxic? we're having a calm discussion, chill with the attitude.
As for the posts, Fnaf def doesn't look any more cartoony then Army of Darkness or Elm Street's CGI. And just because they look cartoony doesn't mean DBD wouldn't fit it in their own style. FNAF would work just fine in DBD. I'm not holding my breath for it, but I'm not gonna complain if it gets introduced as a chapter.
And as for the post with Freddy, you can't say Freddy when talking about 2 different things that have Freddy as the vocal point. I'm no mind reader, there was no indication that's what he was talking about.
1 -
I'm not trying to be rude sorry. But I'm just confused. Also what cgi in elm street? Are you talking about the remake?
1 -
Freddies dead, the Final Nightmare was a CGI nightmare. Anytime those weird dream demons were on screen it burned my eyes.
3 -
Oh wait nevermind. I wanna see a space killer ONLY if its him.
1 -
Yeah cgi never looks good for horror imo, practical effects are great and bring realism to it. But that's why I don't think fnaf will do well because it was never realistic looking and for some would break the immersion

Leland Gaunt from Needful Things
Well, he is standing in the shop and selling things to the survivors...🦉❓️

It's possible, but to be fair Demogorgon is really out there when it comes too design wise for dbd. It's the most unique looking killer, and that's one of the reasons I love Demogorgon. It's not just another human with special powers/sharp knife. Will FNAF ever be in dbd? probably not. Would it be fun because it's something other then a human with a knife/sharp object? absolutely.

I don't support pedos. It would be in bad taste to get a chapter like this.

In fiction? Jason because that's a legal minefield. Nothing to do with the character himself.
In real life? Chose any dictator from the 1930's til the end of the cold war. That's self explanatory
1 -
I had not even considered that.

They have said that the Entity is not evil, its motives are just beyond our understanding.

I feel like Springtrap should have a sort of "character redesign" when entering the entity's realm. I'd suggest changing from a "traditional evil villain" design he sometimes has in FNaF, and change it to either a
- An intelligent, savage, half-human, half-robotic, murderer that would rely on his supernatural gimmicks and outsmarting his opponents in order to gain the upper hand. This would stay faithful to his lore.
- Possibly something closer to the Demogorgon? This one rely on him being more feral, and would have him share, human, robotic, as well as animal-like characteristics. For comparison, think of Bowser from his transition from Super Mario to Super Smash Bros. It would involve a greater use of his robotic brutal strength to get the upper hand. This would deviate from his lore a little more, but would open up many new gameplay options.
as well as a graphical update to make him look more detailed, grimy, and withered.
I'm not the greatest when it comes to creating killer powers, but I was thinking he'd be a killer that would be partly stealth based, but I feel like he should also be allowed to have significant map pressure in some way. His power would probably benefit from drawing from his story rather than FNaF's gameplay mechanics. It should have some sort of supernatural aesthetic to it. I feel like using abnormal robotic characteristics, trapped spirits, phantom animatronics, or possibly being an apparition himself could all work as foundations for possible abilities.
I would suggest a unique mechanic where he could possibly start the game with a low terror radius, steal electricity from generators in order to charge a main ability that would boost his map pressure significantly (possibly phantom animatronics?). Idk I made that up in just a few seconds, but it could possibly be developed into a better power. I also saw an idea on Reddit that the hooks would be replaced with animatronic suits, that would function the exact same as hooks, with the exception of some minor gimmicks. That could work as some sort of passive ability.
As for his animations, Springtrap is a humanoid, so they could borrow assets from other killers for certain animations. The only unique thing that would HAVE to be added are jiggle bones/physics to his ears and other parts that droop. Of course, they could go the extra mile if they wanted to, and make some animations robotic while making others look human-like. Then there's obviously the new animations that come with every killer with its ability.
I feel like there's a lot of different angles you could portray this character within DBD, it just comes down to what's best for the character as well as what's best for DbD.

Springtrap (the most requested FNaF killer) would definitely need a sort of graphical update when/if he's introduced to DbD. Something like this:
to this
4 -
Dracula
1 -
I wouldn't be completely opposed to that visually, but what would he do?
0 -
And how would you avoid looking at him lol, dbd requires you to look at the killer frequently to last long in chases. His power would be pretty boring too.

The one the only...golgothan!
2 -
Still looks childish
1 -
He’s so cute
1 -
I’m assuming because they’re small? Ghost Face and Pig can go that low, and they’re pretty balanced.
1 -
But those characters are always that small. Also definitely tinier than GF and Pig.
1 -
Jeepers Creepers. If the devs were to implement a Jeepers Creepers chapter, in utter disregard to the fact that the whole Jeepers Creepers story is unoriginal and the director is a sex offender, I would be severely disappointed. Plus, what would his power be?
0 -
It doesn’t have to be a chapter maybe just a paragraph, but if we were to put a survivor maybe markilplier xD
1 -
Kylo Ren
Suffer that thought, SUFFER IT!
3 -
Because this would be such a troll
2 -
I would be sad, but then I would laugh at all the hate discussions.
0 -
I said that about stranger things. Yet here we are.
At least Pennywise fits the lore and concept. 🤷♀️
1 -
Awwww but hearing a demonic giggling and seeeing a small yellow square chase you with its murderous pet or knife would’ve been fun!
We should also add Shrek in not sure why it took every one this long to think about it lol.
0 -
Shrek would be too OP if the map is a swamp.
2 -
David S. Pumpkins.
Though part of me laughs at the idea.
Especially with the music.
1 -
Legion. They suck. /s

It’s a video game, grow the ######### up

I'm a grown woman - most likely older than you. Perhaps you should look in the mirror and figure out who your money supports and what actions it condones.

i don’t want Jason to come into this game because we don’t need two killers that are similar to each other so I don’t want Jason to come to this game at all since we Already have the trapper

1. WowSuchGaming made a video discussing Jack Torrance as a killer, and I don't really think it would work. Jack just ain't imposing enough to be a killer. Nothing really unique about him, he doesn't have a "thing." Just a crazy dude with an axe. When compared to the other killers with interesting designs, lore and abilities, Jack would end up looking like "an unwashed sock in a fruit basket." (Yahtzee Croshaw)
2. Any killer based on pretending to be survivors, like perhaps The Thing or The Tethered from Us. Just wouldn't work as a concept. SWF makes it impossible.
0 -
Pinhead. He wouldn't work. His entire character is based on killing people with telekinesis and getting his minions to do the work for him.
Everyone saying Pennywise, however...he would be great for DBD. His Mori would be sick, too.
0 -
Fnaf
0 -
Jason Voorhees. It's because he's impossible to kill is why he can't fit in the game, and putting him to where he can isn't fair to not only the person playing as the killer, but also Jason as a character.

2019-2020 thread.
6 -
But… the killers in DbD can’t even die? Plus he could be killed in his own game??
6 -
I think you have no clue what you are talking about..
5 -
Any modern Killer.... safe to say that there aren't many to choice from or are just re-boots of earlier works
I can't come up with any as of right now... except for those of the SAW series (Hoffman, DR. Gordon, Jigsaw... I can't remember his name, hell even John Kramer) cause they won't work in game (for the most part)... Plus we already have Amanda so it's good
0 -
Cthulhu, or any of his "friends".
0 -
Annabelle or chucky. Nope lol
But I'm biased I just hate dolls 😂
0 -
Daleks/ Cybermen from Doctor Who.
But I would give a testicle for a The Silence/ Weeping Angels to be added.
0 -
Jeepers Creepers... is another one

I don't give a #########.
