When you start a game you should figure out what is your objective to survive.

Classic objetive complete 5 Generators.

Objective 2 Idea:

🧪 Spider Shrines

Search the map for special fountains with glowing teal-green water. You spend 15 seconds gathering special clensing water. You get around 3 skill checks to not block the fountain for 15 seconds and lose all progress on that fountain.

Once you have the cleansing water. You need to bring it to a spider shrine. The water does not take your item slot.

Spider-shrines act as generators. So theres 7 total on the map and you need to clens 4-5.

You clens the spider-shrines which require 60 charges to cleanse (Gens have 80 but your need fountains so its less.)

Killer and surviror perks work the same on these shrines.

Once you cleanse them all, you must open exit gates.

If one survivor is left alive a ritual pool will spawn. Survivor needs to dive into this pool to escape. If the killer find the pool they make it corrupt and exit gates are powered.

Survivor then needs to open exit gates or find a lotus amulet which spawns in the basement if the pool is corrupted. This fragile amulet counts as a item so you will drop your item if you have one. The amulate breaks if the killer causes you to lose a health state.

Objective 3 Idea:

🧧 Seals of Biding

There are 13 Seals on the map which are revealed to survivors in a 24 meter radius. Killer can see all seals. These seals look like flying runic symbols. (Similar to envelopes or glyphs)

Destroying a seal requires 50-70 charges and survivors need to break 7 seals.

Once 7 seals are broken survivors need to open the exit gates.

The seals start red in color and the more progress they have the more yellowish-orange they turn and finaly gold when finished. Making them spark and shoot into the sky.

If there is one survivor left a hatch wont spawn. Instead all seals are revealed to them and they break them at 500-1000% faster speed. And they need to break 12 out of the 13 seals. Once breaking the 12th seals they automatically survive ending the trial.

Perks work the same on these seals.

    There was an early game objective mechanic that Patrick play tested or something, but survivors thought it was "boring". So your idea won't work because somehow in someway survivors will find it "boring".

    How? (Reading that it sounds like youre calling doing generators boring.)

    Its the same thing as doing generators but a bit more interesting.

    1-4 people can work on the shrine but atleast one player needs to apply the clensing water.

    And the envelopes are just generators but you need to get close to them as survivor to see them.

    It just adds a bit of variety nothing too different.

    I'm not calling it boring, I'm just saying that survivors will literally call any added objective boring if it doesn't favor them. I'd be down for the change, but a lot of survivors hate it. They just want to hold m1 on generators while predropping pallets.
