CoH Nerfed! We Won Guys, We Won!
Finally!
It nerfed from 75% heal speed to 50%

Keep that number coming down!

God, these survivor sided devs suck /s
46 -
I'm uncertain how much this'll help since it doesn't quite address CoH's main issues, but it ought to slow down healing enough that the perk won't be as overwhelmingly awful. The first nerf already lessened the perk's impact a little, and combined with this one... yeah, I think CoH will be manageable after this.
If nothing else, this is a good stage to start from when it comes to actually changing it on a more fundamental level, if it still proves necessary- which I personally think it will.
4 -
This nerf needed, this perk killed most killers. Now it is fine.
Free Self-Care for all team.
6 -
Where did I say the nerf wasn't needed?
8 -
So does this mean that CoH self healing is 32s like Self Care?
1 -
Did you added /s later? Because i did not see it first time.
2 -
Thank god for that.
1 -
You know, as much as I despised COH. I don’t think the healing speed was the problem. The problem was that there was no limit to healing.
I guess we will see BT, DS, DH and Unbreakable again :D
14 -
I added the /s so the devs don't think I'm calling the devs dumb.
They made a change that benefits killers but i said "survivor sided" it was obvious sarcasm just from that.
2 -
This time the Devs bring a Survivor-Perk which was released too strong into the Useless Area (where basically all new Survivor-Perks end up) in a much slower Pace than last time. MoM was nuked, CoH is slowly being brought down to "not worth to pick".
I mean, I agree that it should be nerfed. But can we stop bringing Survivor Only-Chapters in the first place to avoid adding a Perk which is too strong as a selling point for those Chapters?
23 -
Well if they make boons destroyable, others boon will be more garbage. I think best way was nerfing CoH.
Now it is free Self-Care for all team, so they will waste more time for heal. Perk is fine now.
4 -
So you deleted the Perk? As uncool as that it, I'm fine with it
0 -
See how it goes... It's still unlimited healing that sits in the corner of the map that no killer has any business being in.
1 -
I am fine with Survivors running into the corner of the Map to heal for 32 seconds.
23 -
Exactly.
0 -
Except for the mainiest of survivor mains, I don't think there are many people who thinks this wasn't warranted. It took a lot longer than it should have but I guess it's better than never.
7 -
Wouldn't it be ~21 seconds?
(1+0.5) * (1-0.5) = 0.75 c/s heal speed which is then 16/.75 = 21.333.
I think this is probably a good place as it still requires setting up the boon, but I believe it's still faster than self-care.
2 -
21.33 seconds to self-care. 10.66 seconds to heal. so about 21 and 11 seconds to heal now.
0 -
Self-Care teammates are annoying so I'm not sure how good of an idea is to give everyone the ability to waste 32s.I'm not jumping to coclusions but CoH might be dead (which is a good thing of course).
1 -
Sorry then, i did not see /s first time. So i answered base comment.
0 -
So it’s self care speed?
0 -
Big Sadako buff

I don't see point of COH over self care now. Why use COH where I need to spend time running to a boon/spend time blessing a boon when I can just self care at 50% anyway at the first safe spot?
14 -
You need to bless (waste time), killer can hear and snuff it (more waste time), you will heal yourself 32 seconds (great waste time). Self-Care is much better and you can use Self-Care any time you need.
Perk is fine now. For me at least.
4 -
Never mind CoH is still alive

Circle of Healing also applies to altruistic healing and medkits, as well as allowing your teammates to make use of it without bringing self healing perk themselves. It may not always be the best choice, but there's still scenarios where it can be better than Self Care.
11 -
It was good while it lasted, it’s now basically a dead perk. No reason to run it over any other healing perk and/or a medkit. So long, Circle of Healing. Say hi to Boil Over for us in the graveyard of perks.
8 -
I have a feeling that this nerf is going make COH a dead perk and it will be thrown into the dumpster with the other useless perks. Not saying that the nerf isn't needed, but the healing speed wasn't the issue with the perk. The main issue was giving all of the survivors infinite self care.
5 -
A single heal perk for the entire team, so the rest of them can run something more powerful.
5 -
I believe it’s 24 seconds with this nerf.
Healing a survivor base is 16s. Healing yourself comes at a 200% penalty (32s). All adjustments are calculated additively.
I believe the math is:
16s x 200% - (COH%)
Therefore:
16s x 200% - 50% = 24s
This is the nerf I was crossing my fingers for. Combined with the Hemmorhage changes, killers might be able to cause some havoc on healing now.
1 -
Dear devs, I really think you have missed the real problem with CoH. It is not the healing speed, it is that there is NO cooldown. The killer can snuff out the totem, go away, and the survivor who was hiding nearby can instantly rebless it. Adding a cooldown would prevent survivors from just booning in the killer's face, and would actually have to strategically boon at a place that is unlikely for the killer to patrol.
If you are careless with where/when you boon, then you have to wait until the cooldown is over.
5 -
Boil Over is still pretty good, that hook aura hiding and increased stagger are nothing to sneeze at.
3 -
When the onryo get buff ?

WOW!!!!
1 -
I hope you fixed bug that's called hug tech too.
2 -
It's not a good thing when a perk is so bad that it's never used. All this nerf did was make the perk useless and it's going to make survivors just do gens as fast as possible now that they aren't wasting time healing. Bad change.
4 -
It's a survivor perk that will keep survivors off gens longer because they need to spend time finding totem, booning totem, and possibly rebooning. As a survivor I've died multiple times on hook watching my injured random teammates running around to find a totem to bless and heal with current COH - this adds time and increases my odds of death on hook. 😂 I really hope they choose self care over COH because it's going to save more time.
1 -
Some designs are just bound to be either too strong or too weak.At this point I'd just rethink how to perk works.
0 -
This perk is in no way useless.
3 -
It is not bad thing. This perk killed all m1 killer and hit&run games. Now this nerf is buff for all of this killers. That's good thing on my book.
1 -
Oh thank god
1 -
This is like a slightly better self care now that retains the advantages self care doesn't have.
Such as being aoe and allowing all survivors use it,heal others 50% faster while self care only lets you heal yourself at 50% speed.
I still think this perk will be used but i'm hoping this will be enough to break the healing meta and allow the killers that we're practically rendered useless because of this perk be viable again.
You can revert the nerf by just using botany knowledge, but that means you need to use 2 perk slots now.
I miss hit and run meta where killers weren't forced to tunnel and camp to get anything out of a game.
I truly believe sloppy butcher will be a staple perk for m1 killers, now healing will take so long it will slow the game just enough to allow weaker killers to apply enough pressure to outdone the healing.
3 -
It’s sad she got the ash treatment :(
0 -
This 100%. I'm just going to pop gens as fast as possible when this change goes live. COH wasn't perfect but it'll be useless now. Just stay injured and do gens.
6 -
Is this 1 day early for april fools?
2 -
I'm gonna be honest as well, I hate going against coh as killer, but that perk is what finally did something new with the meta even if it was very unhealthy. If it does become a bad perk now, then yeah the survivor meta would just be reverted.
1 -
That goes away once that teammate dies and also has a teammate off gens longer while they boon/reboon. Run self care instead and save time.
0 -
This is just going to make survivors do gens even faster. Not going to be fun.
