The Devs and the endless survivor gut
This is actually hilarious.
The devs in a 6 months period literally killed a good survivor after years of introducing meme/bad survivor perks on every chapter. The gutting streak continues with the Dead Hard nerf soon and who know what else.
And meanwhile killers getting strong slowdown perks every chapter stacking them in every match and buffing the current ones.
Also another killer buffs are on the way. This is happening because the vast majority of the forums are filled with killer mains complaining about every single thing. Keep the gutting devs, next patch CoH 5/10/15%.

What does that even mean, I just like the icon...?

what??
You got demo so you don't exist.

Don't you think 50% more heal speed for the whole team is enough. Its unlimited and can only be snuffed but not destroyed.
And do you really want to say the Ghostface and legion buffs aren't right these guys desperately need some love

Yea because old billy old wraith old pinhead old freddy old slinger old undying old pop never existed. You need to understand if killer have something remotely strong it gets nerfed into the abbys after couple of months. If survivor have something strong it gets nerfed after couple of YEARS.

Not to be rude by try playing killer for 2 hours in high mmr and watch ur sanity going lower than a fish in the bottom of the sea
survivors are still massively op, if anything killers need more help atm more than ever

I am a survivor main and games against bad killers often end up feeling like a gen simulator with the possibility of seeing a wild noob swinging at a barrel lol. I never use dead hard (for all you killer mains crying about it I am you best friend... why yes I wanted to DH into the wall thank you) and what ever change happens I will say this: if I am running Shadow Step (SS) and Sprint Burst (SB) then I am going to break line of sight and you will most likely not find me. That will become the next meta move and killers will cry about that while survivors cry about insert what ever and the crying will repeat. Honestly killers needed better slow down perks because SWF could finish a game in 5mins and the killer could see one of them. Best SWF match I ever had we all had prove thy self and built to last and tool boxes we either 4 or 3 manned gens and did not go anywhere with out the others. We had 4 gens done before the killer saw us finish the 5th. The killer opened the gate and gave up. Was this fun for us? It was funny. Was it fun for the killer? I would guess not. If every survivor main took a long hard look at the killers they laugh at and say ez win you might realize many killers NEED A BUFF. Solo que is an L at this point because its impossible to balance a game for SWF and Solo and if you give killer the option of solo ques or SWFs, SWFs would never get to play thus driving players away. Killers might rejoice at the death of SWFs but when there are no survivors their is no one to kill and Vise Versa we get rid of all the killers who we don't like there will be no one for use to play against.

That's a huge issue that really needs to be addressed: DBD it's 2 game in one, for survivors. SWF and solo are HUGELY different and they need to decide if they want to give to SOLO players the same advantage of SWF thus making the game PLAYABLE for solos or (and i really don't know how) get rid of SWF. As a solo player , after 700 hours i'm fed up with ridicolous killer's combo(all'exposed on killer with extreme mobility, super speed buffs on instadown killers, no gen allowed on fast killers etc.) that destroy the solo players, since one unexperienced survivor it's enough to get all killed and are unusable against swf since they have comm providing killer perk analysis, all sv position, gen statuses, totems positions, killer positione etc. etc. etc. This game can really be a lot of fun but not like this...

100% agree Solo que is unbearable and I now try to avoid it unless I am just trying to get some points and not caring about actually getting out. I see it for the killer side as well because even in solo you will the odd time get good survivors that just shut you down. SWFs honestly make the game unfun but also fun and you take the option for me to play with my friends I'm out. On the other hand you give the Solo que the comms and advantages of SWFs and you will have every last killer leave the game because they will go from a 50/50 kill rate to 10/90 in survivor favor most likely.

CoH deserved it's nerf and it will remain a good Perk even after the nerf

Playing since 2017. Not to be rude either, but im pretty sure my killer hours are higher than killer and survivor combined. I know mmr for both sides. Because I play more survivor doesn't mean that I don't play killer.

I lose as Survivor like 70% of the time in Average MMR, but I am kinda okay with it. I am literally a Survivor trying to survive a massively powerful Killer. I think if you are like me, you should look at if you had close games, if you had good chases, and had fun. The only thing I am not okay with is when the Killer demolishes the squad easily at like 4 gens left. Also, when you keep improving at Survivor and learning wiggle chases and 360 spins and teaming up with SWF or other High MMR lobbies, the game starts to become a little bit too easy/repetitive for Survivors. I know this might be like only 20-30% of the DBD player base, but still, it's true.

You are absolutely right and this is why so many high MMR killers run into the toxic clicky clicky groups because they are bored of normal play and want to bully but as they lose and their MMR goes down the drain they then go to the average and lower MMR and continue to be bullies. As must as I hate being chased if the killer is decent it can be fun and once they get you can feel accomplished Love looping nurses: she absolutely petrified me now I find that I have learnt better and thus can mess with them a lot. I am the potato on the team against demo. I just never play against him and forget he can super lunge until he lunges...

For SWFs at high levels of play, maybe it deserved the nerf, just because it allowed SWFs to get back 3 perk slots. Maybe... Healing is a big time sink for survivors and the less you heal, the better off you are and the more you get your teammates to heal you, the better. I think at higher levels of play, CoH doesn't really have much of a bearing because survivors know to do gens over everything else.
For SWFs at mid to mid-high levels of play, It probably needed a nerf because that level of play relies on healing more and SWFs at the level are better able to coordinate.
For SWFs at low levels of play, it's useless.
For solo-queue it's useless.
I was doing time calculations on CoH and healing wise, it's meh. It's really only perk efficiency where I could see the argument being made. Basically, it takes 2 heals to be better than self-care pre-nerf and 3 heals to be better than self-care post nerf.

The only reason CoH probably isn't as good at high MMR is because the most used Killers at high MMR are Killers that don't have a problem with it, like Nurse and Blight.
CoH absolutely destroyed everywhere else though, as at mid to low MMR levels, the best Killers aren't usually played, nor are they even played well.
Gotta disagree with CoH being useless in SoloQ. It's probably one of the best SoloQ Perks in the game. It shows the whole team where they can go if they want to heal up without wasting the time of anyone else on the team, resulting in overall more Generator progress, aswell as showing the team where the Killer is if they decide to snuff it

Killer mains run dbd apparently

Yeah, a multimillion dollar corporation is making decisions based on posts in the forum.
NOT the dwindling killer numbers or game data, it's people's opinions that steer their decisions.
See what I'm doing there? I'm being sarcastic.

I like your angle on it being SWF sided more than Survivor sided. You might be onto something there.

Survivors enjoy the same meta for almost 6 years now, whereas killers had to adapt to many nerfs (Ruin, Undying, Nurse, Spirit,...)
AND: Survivors can stack perks too. It's called swf.

I'd like to highlight your point about Boil Over there- you say it got nerfed because coordinated SWF teams abused the purpose of the perk, but that is flat out dead wrong. You did not have to be in a SWF to abuse Boil Over, you just had to be in the RPD library or at the top of the Eyrie of Crows building when you went down, that's it. It actually had nothing to do with SWF at all beyond "bully squads" immediately taking a liking to it.
Boil Over, also, still got buffed! It's still far more usable than before!

The crocodile tears are strong.

There is a reason there is a killer shortage, while everyone wants to play survivor. So they have to give killers buffs and make it more fair. If you think killer is better and more easy then go play killer. I will stick with survivor.

Cant wait for the anniversary chapter :)

Only in a coordinated SWF they're OP. Otherwise, not at all.

Dead hard, borrow time, Boons, Ds, head on, flashlights, firecrackers, flashbangs, gen rush with toolboxes, 4 seconds healing with medkits, infinite looping around pallets (since they don't get blocked like windows) and u might just tell me u can counter these with perks but playing with the same perks for 600 times tends to get extremely boring
and what do killers, noed and BBQ which doesn't even reveal the survivors it just flashes where they are and by that point they are usually gone
Ruin? got ruined because reasons (no pun intended), counter to dead hard? doesn't exist
Killers? only like 2 or 3 are actually op while the rest needs a a sweaty tryhard loadout and a therapist sitting next to you while u play them so u don't go insane
