Idea for boons in general

Probably someone sugested this before, honestly idk...

So as every killer (me included) is saying that boons are too broken, so I had this idea:

What about if totems had limited uses?

What I mean by this is that each totem in the trial can be blessed a limited amount of time, and when this limit is met and the killer snuffs it out, the totem breaks and can't be used anymore. This way if the survivors are abusing of boons they eventually have to move to a different side of the map that is maybe more dangerous and eventually having no boons if they exhausted every totem on the trial, but in doing so there wouldn't be a totem for NOED (so maybe is more fair for both sides? or maybe a random totem comes back for NOED? idk)

By doing this boons whould act kinda like hex: once the effect in the totem is cleared, it's cleared for the whole trial (but giving a chance or two more for the blessing)

For example:

On a trial the surrvivros have blessed a totem that is on a corner of the map where the nearby gen is done, so is a very secure place, this totem gets one tokken (lets count the uses as tokkens, like in perks)

The killer goes to this totem and snuffs it out, but later a survivor bless it again, this totem now has two tokkens and its maxed out.

The killer comes again and snuffs it out again, and because the totem had the max amount of tokkens it breaks just as if a survivor cleansed it.

Now that there is no totem on this corner, the survivors have to go and find a new totem to bless, maybe on the centre of the map or a very open area, exposing themselves more to the killer.

Maybe if A totem has a hex on it, it whould start the trial with one tokken already.

Thoughts?

No, but I like that survivors can bless the same totem over and over, unlimited tbh.

Most don't want to waste the time hunting for a new totem, so you can almost always find them in the area of the boon you just snuffed when you hear it get placed again. It makes survivors so predictable and easy to find.

Making it so they continuously move the boon around is going to remove that predictability. Also, for any hex gamers, it'll significantly up the odds of the hex getting found even faster because survivors will start just seeking out other totem spawns to use later when the totem is broken.

But I think this (or something similar) would make it more fair for both sides, the survivors aren't as predictable, but they can't abuse one totem in a good side of the map.

The only ideas I have to nerf boon perks would be this or giving the perks a limited amount of tokens and use a token each time they bless, like distortion (but I think this would be a bit boring idk)

A token system would be great, but could nerf other boons too. The problem is only CoH, not boons in general.
