COH nerf is very unhealthy
The nerf shows that BHVR is out of touch.
Games are stale, boring, slugfest with survivors hardly having any variance in perk choices because most survivor perks are downright totally garbage and does absolutely nothing to help survive.
If you look at Boon perks, the only one used somewhat was CoH. A perk that gives self-care after spending a lot of time finding and blessing a totem. A perk that took attention away from the primary objective. After the previous nerf to 75%, I started using only Self-Care and maybe Desperate Measures if I wanted a little faster speed because Boon totems took way too much time to setup and the counterplay was way too easy for killers to disable it and then you have no perk until it is blessed again.
Boon totems helped killers win because survivors didn’t work on the main objective.
The perk was fun to use and this game desperately needed that. Nerfing the perk is unhealthy and shows BHVR is willing to do anything killer mains want at the expense of their own game.
Killer mains get fun and powerful perks that shake up the meta all the time without them being nerfed. Scourge of Pain and Dead Man’s Switch is grossly overpowered, way moreso than this CoH perk. Perk combo is actually broken.
For the survivors that still play the game, they’ll have less incentives to look for totems to start their perks and will instead do the primary objective. I don’t think killer mains know what they want. They want the primary objective to be impossible to complete and want survivors to do no secondary objectives for any advantage.
BHVR needs to play their game more, especially survivor, and discover how overpowered killers can be and that the game is not as hard as killer mains make it out to be. Game is in a very lackluster state with player counts slowly dropping as a result. If you are not in a top SWF playing in the most unfun way possible (aka sweating all over the gens), you are not going to power any gates open.
Killers are not supposed to 4K every match.

hi sluzzy

About time, I've been refreshing the general discussions page for ages
5 -
Through all the COH threads right now, THIS is the one I've waited for. Never change. ❤
3 -
I'm not even going to bother discussing why it's not that big of a deal
2 -
Sluzzy, please play an m1 killer at high mmr
7 -
I made a TL/DR:
- Boons help Killers
- Almost no one plays survivor
- Killers OP pls nerf
Hook me up, if i forgot something.
7 -
I do all the time. Killer is way easier than survivor. Much higher chance of winning as a killer than survivor so much it is concerning.
3 -
Specifically play as trapper
3 -
Okey just for fun tell me an counter argument to one thing that bugs me the most about it.
One guy picks a perk and every one can heal without help after the boon is set up for an infinite amount of times since totems are not destroyed when I snuff the boon
2 -
I play all killers just so you know!
1 -
Trapper is one of the easiest, they can't loop you!
3 -
Sluzzy, please watch some really experienced cracked DBD killer streamers. You'll see how awesome they are at spreading pressure through injuring mutliple survivors, and also how fast that pressure dies away 'cause of 1 boon totem.... that gets reblessed so many freakin' times.

It's not that much time spent, hun. I run CoH all the time and managed to get it up pretty often if I'm not constantly chased, but that said it needed to be reigned in a touch more. It was hyper efficient to the point where it was power creeping other perks out of rotation.
2 -
I agree,Trapper is overpowered, they should remove his traps, they are so oppresive.
1 -
Like I said, those cracked players are not supposed to win "every" match. Likewise, please watch some survivor streamers where they played well but it all gets taken away because of NOED. Or how Tinkerer hand held the killer to the last gen being worked on.

What are your thoughts on Spirit?
1 -
Go on then, get some matches done, I'd say about 100 or so should get some good data
1 -
I agree. But let’s wait for the PTB and see how CoH really feels like now.
I only play solo survivor and every nerf to soloQ is a terrible idea. Oh well…
1 -
If they played well than why couldn’t they prevent NOED from activating??
3 -
Sluzzy has thousands of hours in the game and she often is at the top of the killer leaderboard, just saying
0 -
Sluzzy also plays mostly nurse

It's safer not to answer to such posts today, as it's probably an attempt at April's fools, although I don't get the concept of posting a joke thread on a video game forum.
We all know that this boon is OP for many reasons, and the healing speed bonus is not even one of them.

She plays nurse as well as other killers. I got wrecked by Sluzzy who was playing doctor, certainly not a top tier killer

Killers don't deserve a 4k every match and that is true.
However survivors don't always deserve to escape. CoH creates situations that the killer can't really do anything about.
Imagine a 3-gen, being a situation that is the survivors' fault. A killer used to have the advantage in those situations because he could put preassure on survivors, injoure them and go back to guard gens forcing the survivors to coordinate and take the gens at the same time using the slow regression speed to their advantage.
Now survivors can just tank the hit, run to the other side of the map, heal at a boon and go back. No coordination at all, the situation now is no longer in the killer's favour as he can't leave the 3-gen to find the boon (that can be relit) else he loses, nor he can commit to chases else he loses.
A situation created by the survivors' mistakes now is an advantage for them.
That perk is just unhealthy for this game.
Not to mention how it killed hit and run strategies and killers.
