An Open Handed buff idea I wanted feedback on
Note: Just because I'm throwing this idea out doesn't necessarily mean I think it should happen, I'm saying throwing this idea because I thought of it suddenly looking at Ace's perks in the board game and wanted feedback on if the idea is something I should work on or scrap (or if it's just fine and you'd like to see it happen)
Open Handed (change in bold)
Strengthens the potential in your and your team's information abilities.
- Open-Handed increases all Aura-reading ranges by 8/12/16 metres.
- Open-Handed does not stack with other instances of itself.
- Your perks are revealed to every survivor in the hud
So an idea I've been having recently is the idea that Open Handed reveals perks (based off an Ace perk from the boardgame which reveals a killer's movement), the reason I chose your perks being revealed to other survivors is I think it'd be a powerful knowledge perk in Solo-Q where your teammates know what you can and can't do (i.e. a Survivor won't assume you'll DS after being unhooked since they know you don't have DS) and think it'd be a nice effect if 2 Open Handed are used (currently if 2 people used Open Handed, they got nothing, but now both have their perks known by others which is powerful information to the teammates).
Sorry if this felt rushed, it is. Also, please tell me your thoughts, I would love feedback and feel this is an idea worth exploring.

Survivors seeing each others' perks shouldn't be tied to a perk; it should be a basekit feature.

Couldn't agree with you more, I just have no faith it would actually be implemented in basekit.
Although if that did happen, how about they also see the perks progress as well (i.e. stacks of autodidact, when Any Means Necessary is ready, how much gen progress needed to get flashbang, etc.). Unless that's also basekit, then idk how to make this perk better without making it busted.

I actually really, really like this idea.
I tried to rack my mind for an upgrade to this perk - but I found it quite problematic.
The best I could come up with is some way to hold 2 separate items at once. (Hold a Toolbox and a medkit) but you can only take 1 into the trial yourself. Which - may sound enticing, but I always thought it may be clunky if implemented improperly.
Seeing all survivor perks in play and having all other survivors is super good!
But, in truth, it finds limited viability in SWF - which mean's it's gotta get better.
If this perk revealed to you (and only you) all killer perks over the course of the match - it could be a game changer, especially in SWF. Just adding a "You can see the killer's perks on you HUD - every 180/120/90 seconds, one perk is revealed to you." would make this a super strong pick in both SWF and Solo.

I would make perks visible to others basekit (in-game, not in-lobby, as that would encourage lobby dodging).
I would have Open Handed share any of your equipped aura reading perks with any survivor within 4m of you (repairing the same gen / healing together).

Yes, and no. Perks like Autodidact make sense, but "sharing" Spine Chill value..?
