A few ideas to change hexes and boons.

In my honest opinion boons are broken. Here are some changes ideas I had.

1. I think if a boon get popped once then it shouldn't be able to be reused. It's honestly fair for killer. As killer hexes can't be reused for example if ruin gets popped or booned then the perk is honestly useless for killer.(unless the killer is running hex undying)

2. If a survivor can bless a totem, why can't killer curse a totem, once a boon takes the place of the hex totem, the killer should be able to curse a totem.

3. Let the killer break the totems

4. Reduced the ridus of the boon that would force survivors to go to a certain area.

5. Revert hex undying to what it was and let it keep it's tokens

Boon range nerfed because of Coh, since Coh nerfed, Boon range should be increased because other Boon needs buff, not in strength, but in accessibility.

    • Buff Boon range to 48m (this range can cover the whole map if bless in the middle. 1/4 map if in a corner
    • Blessing time dropped in half
    • Coh speed from +50% to +0%, since Coh has possible map wide range.
    • ShadowStep instead of remove scratch mark, it should be Light weight.
    • But once snuff, the perk gone forever.

Hex should be a time buyer now, no more high risk high reward because of the spawn in middle of nowhere. Hex should work like Plaything.

For example: Hex the 3rd seal.

    • If a survivor gets hit, a Dull totem turned into Hex that apply curse to only that survivor, survivor now Blined until their own Hex cleansed.
    • Once a Dull turned into Hex, the Hex is blocked for 90sec to all survivor
    • Any other Hex applies other effect later (like Plaything after getting a hook), the curse also from that same Hex on the same survivor.

Just give boons a cool down. 1 one time use makes the perks garbage

Boons should have a cool down

Also if the same Totem is used then it should break after 3-4 times (apon getting snuffed)

HoC is the main reason why I made this post. As I play the role of killer the most. Boon have a high reward and low risk as you can relit a boon unlimited about of times. Heck you can even have 4 boons in game with all four survivors with the boon perks and they can stack multiple effects on one totem. I'm sick of hearing survivor saying boons aren't as strong then hexes because that totally BS. You can literally heal and use unbreakable with an unlimited times with boons.

Totems should break on snuffing. This keeps them as a limited resource.

Dbd players stop suggesting to nerf boons when the only strong one is CoH challenge (difficulty: IMPOSSIBLE)

    Boons aren't powerful.

Only Circle of Healing is powerful, my suggestion is to nerf it, not by lowering healing speed but by removing self-healing from the perk. This way it isn't very powerful as you would either need to use a medkit or 2 players for the boon to work.

Ok you want make this perk to be totally useless. You want a survivor to bless a totem and they can't even heal themselves with it that's kinda dumb. I'm not talking about HoC, true I used it for example but I was preferring to how boons are stronger than hexes and they need balance changes

I'd happily spend 16s on a boon if it got rid of it permanently.

Hexes and boons are not the same mechanic, and shouldn't be considered the same way for balancing.

The reason that boons aren't broken on snuff or are one use only is because they're designed to provide continual slowdown from survivors who keep staying off generators to relight their boons and keep their buffs up. Through that lens, we can undertand that single-use boons or single-use specific totems is a catastrophically bad idea that'd completely undercut the entire intended effect.

We also have to consider that boons aren't broken. Circle of Healing in particular is broken, but after its upcoming nerf, it should be... more manageable, at least? I'm not sure, it might need more but that's not really the point- the point is, the other three boons are not overpowered. Two of them are nearly useless and the third one is just decent, so clearly boons don't actually need any real adjustments.

At least, not major ones. I do think some things could change, I'd personally like if the killer could hear the directional cue from further away, but it's just minor tweaks like that.

Yeah, it's bizzare that people even equate them. The only aspect they share is a totem interaction, but they do it in a completely different way.

    ๐Ÿ“New Survivor Power๐Ÿ“

It has a Killer power that is too strong for Survivors to prevent it from jumping windows after the Killer jumps through it.

A survivor could exist a power that can break some blocked walls.

โ€ข Break the window: 20 seconds

    โ€ข Recharge time: 45 seconds

โ€ข Can only break locked windows 3 times in a single match

The other skill could be jumping out of the window and having protection to not take damage from the Assassin.

โ€ข Can only be used 2 times after having 1 point of protection, at start-up.

๐Ÿ“ˆThis skill is heavily balanced, as Assassins cheat past the barricade and back, not having the protection point.๐Ÿ“ˆ

    Hope I understood!! Because I'm a Brazilian DBD player.๐Ÿ‘๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท๐Ÿ‡ง๐Ÿ‡ท๐ŸŽฎ๐Ÿ˜ƒ๐Ÿ‘
