The RPD Library needs to be removed from the game NOW

I don't care if BHVR needs to talk to someone or not. The library should not be in the game with how many different perks you can use to make it physically impossible to hook/catch someone just by going to the library. That part of RPD never should have made it into dbd, no matter how 1 to 1 Capcom wanted the map to be. Literally the moment BHVR fixes one issue with the RPD Library, they either have that fix removed or another issue pops up. It may not be a safe room in Resident Evil 2, but it sure is in dbd.

If Survs start playing like that then just play the slug and camp game. Misery loves company.

There needs to be 1 hook in the library on all iterations of the map. If they did that it'd be so much better. I had a game where I had to slug 3 survivors there. 1 would always run there while the other two worked gens. I then had to leave them to go stope the other two (and one would always sneak by to pick up). I couldn't just camp the slug because the others would finish all the gens. Was the longest game of my life (hacker games and hatch stand offs excluded)

I swear there were two hooks up there for a while! Then they disappeared once Sadako came out. Bring them back :(

They're probably be best not to, unless they added a second way up there. Adding hooks to the upper floor created a situation similar to basement, but the killer could camp the staircase and survivors could do nothing to rescue them.

You are lying ! In RE2 it is a safe room ! More safe than dbd !

Seriously, how can you still want to remove this room after so many nerfs ? Now it is very hard to wiggle from this room. Good killers will just slug or pick up when you know you can hook.

Put one hook in the second floor area of the library. One just outside the library. Consider also breaking down a section of the gate past the vault point.

That should end abuses by either side.

If you've played RE2 Remake then you'll know what I'm talking about the library in the real game and I think that if they nerf boil over then it will be a good idea to start with.

I honestly wish Raccoon City itself was the map instead of the police department, it's such a tease to be able to see the buildings and such in the background, I've always been a sucker for dense urban horror and it's a reason I've always been an advocate for Candyman to get added to the game, because I know he would come with an urban Cabrini Green map. I would honestly just block off the staircase in the library like how in the 4th Survivor mode in RE2 Remake blocks off certain areas in the RPD the game doesn't want you to go too and that would basically fix all legitimate issues with the map for me, because as it stands right now most of the problems people have with it is that they get lost and confused and to fix that more people should just play on it more and learn the layout instead of just DCing every-time they see it on their screen (Or play Resident Evil 2 Remake lol).

It will not happen so you are wasting your time. The best you can hope for its a map rework.
