Killers need an emote

Survivors get a point, a come here, not to mention t-bagging and the clicky-clicky, and I'm beginning to realize that there's a lot of frustration involved in not being able to respond. I need a way to say "You've been a dick this entire match, and if I could hang you on the hook by your backside and beat you like a used piñata I would, but I have 4 digit ping atm so please accept this lovely bird instead"

I guess it could also mean "good job" or something idk. All about the context I suppose

What I'd love, and this has always been my dream, something like the one scene in Terminator 2: Judgement Day where Sarah thinks she's gonna be able to shoot the T-1000 into the vat of molten steel, and almost pulls it off but runs out of ammunition as she's one shot away from knocking him in, and the T-1000 just looks up and wags his finger at her. I'd love a finger wag emote for the killers so I could do it when I down someone just as they get to a pallet and are unable to use it, but I can see why they're apprehensive to do killer emotes as something like I just described doesn't fit the character of some of the killers.

Right? So many times I watch someone so something so... "what were you expecting to happen there?" and I just gotta do the slow side to side rotate "no" thing, and it's just not really satisfying. And characterization be d***ed, it's not in Nemi's character to carry someone to hatch and let them go, or any killer's really, but it happens sometimes, because we're people interacting through the digital skins of people, monsters, and megs, and I think there should be enough leeway there to put in something

I think there's alot of potential for killer specific emotes, for example Deathslinger could have an emote where he spits at the ground like the cowboys in the Old West movies, Nemesis could have one where he does the flex from the game and says "Stars", Myers could have one where he does the iconic head-tilt from the movies that isn't in the game for some reason, etc.

Oh, there absolutely is, and that would be awesome, but I figure a basic shared emote would be easier to implement, and I would pretty much take anything at this point

The survivor emotes serve a purpose.

The point, is to warn players of a killer approaching, or to tell others to go to certain place.

The come here is done when they want somebody to follow.

Tea bagging isn't an emote its the crouching ability done to hide.

The flashlight clicking is just the sound affect that is played when activating a flashlight.

All of these are not in itself taunting but rather serve a purpose in a match. Now you can say that they are used to taunt but here is the issue, survivor taunting is different to killer taunting. Survivor taunts are used to keep the killer's attention, this is a strategy used when they don't want the killer to interfere with whatever they are trying to do. Now they can be toxic, done simply to annoy, the best way to deal with that is not to start taunting back, but rather either ignore them, or just kill them.

I really don't think the game needs more ways for people to be rude to one another.

Sure it does. That’s what Dead by Daylight is all about!

If that's really what is all about? Then it shouldn't be.

What I’d love to see is put custom emotes or sound packs for killers as Rift rewards. Having hundreds of charms is kind of redundant, I think emotes could be a cool addition to spice it up.

It’s a video game about survivor versus killer, I don’t see why you or anyone should expect anything less! They’re not going to join hands and sing Kumbaya.

^ I feel like hitting on hook gets that point across pretty well if you actually give that many ######### in a video game.

Cant hit on hook if they have 4 digit ping and you cant catch them
