5.7.0 PTB Ghostface stalk mechanic
Hello, I'm a longtime ghostface main. I noticed on the PTB that the "stalk circle" (the area on my screen where players can be stalked) extends to the top and bottom of the screen.
While this may seem helpful for us, it actually hurts because we can no longer use that area of the screen to lean from corners and just 'observe' without marking people. It seems like a minor change but it's actually very important to many longtime ghostface players, and this specific change just makes him more tedious to play. This area of the screen should be reverted to what it was in live.
The picture above shows the "stalk circle" from the live version, the difference in the PTB version is that this circle is taller. This change along with the reduced stalk range I feel is unnecessary. Playing a killer for a long time you develop muscle memory and you just know how the power works. This change messes up the muscle memory and now for example you would accidentally mark someone you didnt intend to.

I think they have confirmed that at least the reduced stalk range wasn’t intentional (Myers had it too in the PTB)
as for the circle, I think it was intentional to make it easier to stalk survivors right in front of you or just very close by (I think that is actually a problem with current stalking. Don’t know if they will address both sides here…)

Thank you for posting this infernoz, I dont see this getting addressed at all and it's going to hurt some high tier ghostface players.
the circle changes are still harmful nonetheless, and as someone who plays a lot of ghostie, you couldnt only stalk players inside your model, which is ok, and you need to treat it as a situation to avoid rather than having it nerfed in the killer's favor.
