Basement Button
New Entity placed button, in the basement, on the far back wall. The button is protected by the Entity until EGC begins.
After the EGC has activated, each survivor (separately) can press this button to retrieve a 10k bonus BP token. It takes the place of a survivor item. They need to escape with the token. It will not break if the Killer strikes/downs/hooks survivor but Killer perks such as Franklins will apply. Survivors can place token down or pick up tokens that they did not personally retrieve. Escaping with token is the only way to retrieve the extra BP.
After the EGC has activated, the Killer may return to the basement to destroy/press the button. Upon activation the Entity will summon three blood glyphs somewhere on the map. Giving a 15k bonus BP per Glyph found and collected. The Survivors can no longer retrieve a token once Killer has interacted with Basement Button.

So… by adding this. Your giving each side a chance to earn more BP, a new objective to accomplish, and more chances for killer + survivor interaction. If survivors camp door, Killer can collect Glyphs. If Killer is camping last hook (outside of basement) then Survivors can collect tokens. If Killer tries to slug in EGC and interact with Basement Button, then he still can’t collect Glyphs without exposing the survivor to a rescue or a crawl to open door. If survivors want to deny the Killer free/easy BP, they would need to leave before he can collect anything.
I think this opens up the door for a bunch of new fun ways to play DbD. The thrill seekers could test their luck, the unselfish could gift coin to one another, those who say they want to appreciate Killer could hang out while he collects Glyphs. Killers could decide between prioritizing protecting escape, camping hook, or surprising the basement dwellers, adding another layer to His End Game. Survivors deciding to help each other, help themselves, or collectively denying Killer extra BP by LEAVING IMMEDIATELY.
Will this work?

I'd like it if you didn't need to drop your item to get it, but it seems pretty cool to me. High risk high reward.

I guess in retrospect I did forget about the the time when hatch is closed, doors are still closed and survivor is slugged…then killer collects glyphs for free.
Maybe pressing button will also open hatch.
Anyway, I tried.

Simple pressing the button opens doors. I really like that idea I had a similar one where the killer a button to end the game once egc has startet to avoid the door sitters but this is even better

Oh yeah, I saw that post, this was an idea born from that one. I had quoted you and crafted this when I realized it wasn’t half bad and should probably just be it’s own topic.
