Trickster should be 115 tbh
I know I'm awakening every trickster hater in existence by saying this.
He's so bad at main buildings and high walls that whenever you get a decently competent survivor they will just predrop and run to main. Honestly ignoring how fun he is and his camping ability id rather play any other killer in the game.
Making him 115 with some nerfs could help normalise his extreme situations where either he can't down the survivor or the survivor just dies with no interactivity.
So I would probably make him 115, increase base throw rate, 60 blades, increase laceration meter to 7, slightly reduce move speed while in throw state, and make him more accessible for console with a ton of changes.

I've not got any say in what would make Trickster balanced (because I never play him) but the focus should be on making him not a worse huntress and making him 115 would put him in a different category imo. Ideally something wild needs to change about him like never needing to reload (infinite knives) or having an overheat mechanic similar to Billy to give him a design space that hasn't been touched among the ranged killers.

current trickter works like Old legion but worst , depending the map , just keep hitting the same survivor with the blades over a over again untill they eventually go down at almost any loop even if the pallet is drop you are a range killer, just keep hitting them and dont break the pallet.
making him 115 would be miserable to go against. sorry but is true 🤐

Trickster has become a favorite of mine to okay lately. That said, sometimes I'm on a map like crows and I wish I had more freedom than to basically have to proxy my first few hooks. Big levels with high Walls hurt him worse than huntress, for that alone it should be worth considering this change, with proper adjustments of course

Trickster doesn't need it. The high wall loops that can't be thrown over or quickly force a pallet drop are pretty rare.
He's pretty strong at most main buildings though if you're good at him. Trickster is also one of the few Killers in the game that can down at shack without breaking the pallet. If Trickster correctly predicts a vault, he can get 3-4 knives from range.
Chases with Trickster are not a matter of IF they're a matter of WHEN. On the majority of loops he will down a Survivor regardless of how experienced that are or which exhaustion perk they have

Only if you make it to where his throw rate doesn't increase and he needs 8 blades again.

He should be reworked if you make him 115 percent that’ll just make his current issue of an imposing 1v1 at certain structures worst while still not really helping him at tall structures.

Ricochet base kit. Im going to bang this drum till the end of time. Its more exciting give you reach beyond certain structures and requires excellent skill expression to utilise well.
115ing a killer is the most boring way to buff a killer and limits future improvements. His power needs more layers to it and ricochet finally makes the trickster a trickster instead of a coked up hobo with a nervous laugh.

That seems a bit too harsh I'd rather he takes 7 blades and just slows down a bit further when in throw state. Not by too much only by 5%.

Tbh they should just make a character good. Trickster's power design is just awful and he is stuck in a realm where he can't be buffed or nerfed very much without him being oppressive or just useless. Deathslinger makes way more sense as a 115, his power isn't super long range, he has a normal TR, and he can't even down over pallets.

Why not? It'll help his scenarios where he cannot do anything and with the right nerfs can balance out by not being overly oppressive at low wall loops.

I would agree to make him 115 on one condition, make it so that he is forced to stop and do a hit animation whenever he injured a survivor. The ability to keep using his power on survivors, even after he hit them, is far more powerful then making him 115. Would be more balanced as well TBH

I think that would remove some of the most fun parts of playing trickster, instead I think they should slow him down a bit more when throwing.
