The five minutes penalty isn't enough.
Given how easily some survivors rage-quit for whatever reason.
It should start at 20 or 30 minutes.
(Just got my Nth teammates DCing this morning, this time they were two one right after the other. It's way worse during the day than at night.)

We all know this game has so much bugs and opt issues. And it is going worse with every new chapter and patch. So when my game crash and i disconnect, i should wait min 20 minutes for play again?
Great idea, join BHVR already.

One 'free' DC a day isn't a big deal, and given that accidental DCs happen, it's the bare minimum required.

I hope youre joking. If you DC frequently it can go up to hours of penalty anyway. Since you can oftem be forced to DC because of hackers, bugs or bodyblockers, 5 minutes is more than enough.

It's fine as it is.

They should fix the reason why many ppl DC, increase the penalty won't do anything, i rarely DC and when i do it is an alt f4 to go play something else

i dearly hope you were joking about this. i would hate to go up against a hacker, then DC to play another match only to have to wait 20 minutes because I was unable to play the game fairly...

Five is plenty considering that BHVR refuses to balance the game between casual solo que players and SWF's. Way more than half my matches are dictated by tunneling or camping killers, often times it's done with bad manners. The only option left when you're tunneled out of the match is a d/c as a way to punish killers for playing that way. Sure it's a viable strategy for killers but that doesn't mean it's reasonable to play against so why would you expect a survivor to reward such behavior by giving you points and dying on the hook normally?

Are they hiring?
Maybe then the second DC should be much longer then.
I'm thinking it should be longer than a match, that's all.
Any idea how to fix:
- Not liking the killer. (In this case : Twins)
- Being downed first.
That filth can keep you hostage a couple of hours. I'm not sure how it is relevant.
Camping, Tunneling, "Bad manners", ... aren't reasons to rage-quit. I hope we never play in the same team. (If I'm the killer though, thanks in advance for the laughs and the easy game.)
