Spirit Tips?
Hey guys!
I finally got around to trying out more killer gameplay, and the spirit is by far my favorite killer. I'd love to keep playing her, but I'd really appreciate some feedback on ways she can be played and used to her fullest potential. Any tips?

Spirt is super fun to play once you master her, right now I've gotten to rank 3 on xbox using spirit and the two main things I can tell you got to get down first is tracking, predicting survivor movements and mind games. As for mind games there is a super good tutorial that explains every type of mind game you can do with spirit and as for predicting, play more survivor and watch what they do. Tracking well don't use predator and start listening to sounds more sorry if i didn't help much but good luck and have some fun she's one of my favorite killers

People aint joking when they say spirit is the mindgame queen, even the most experienced survivors wont be able to tell if you are phasing or not, use that to your advantage.

Take a spirit break until the devs fixed sound

You're going to use scratch marks to give you their general direction but 90% of it is all in the sounds. Get good headphones. You outplay them through listening and knowing what survivors typically do. You can stand still a lot of the time at a pallet and fake the phasing as they jump over right into you. If the scratch marks suddenly stop, they are walking to try and juke you so break the spirit phase. A common tactic is for them to try and double back on you as soon as they stop running and the scratch marks end. Most common mistake I see Spirits make is not using their spirit phase enough. You should very rarely be chasing someone down for a simple M1 attack unless you are real close. Almost all of my hits are coming right out of spirit phase.
I HIGHLY recommend using BBQ, MYC, and Stridor. BBQ and MYC lets you ping pong from hook to down over and over. Godlike on her. Stridor because she relies almost entirely on sound and it improves that even more.
Last perk slot is up to you. I would suggest a slow down perk like Ruin or Sloppy.

You have to be good a predicting where survivors are going. She is pretty similar to Nurse in that regard. It’s all in mind games, if you do not have to use her ability then don’t use it. You can easily throw off survivors just by standing still and watching where they move, they’ll think you are phase walking and sometimes even go into your direction.
Scratch marks can be wonky and mislead you, it’s done it to me countless times. Use sounds to your advantage. A lot of times if I hear a survivors footsteps while I’m phasing, I immediately stop because you’re probably pretty close to them.
Good perks to use are Ruin, Make Your Choice, BBQ, Enduring, Spirit Fury, Stridor, and Nurses Calling. Any of those will be extremely helpful. Can’t tell you how many times a survivor was healing nearby me and I phased right to them and downed them. They cannot hear you phasing if they are within your terror radius.
It takes time and patience to master her but she is a bit easier than Nurse or Huntress.

Well first off use a headset, not speakers.
Second, observe your surroundings listen and look for crows flying off while phasing. Look at the grass while phasing when chasing a survivor in case they try to get cheeky and juke you.
You can initiate your phase at a pallet and listen and hold it to try and mind game them.
Predicting where survivors are running or walking or where they're going to be to cut them off is a skill you need to have or learn.
My best advice is to watch Scott Jund's (DamnNoHTML on Youtube) tutorial and streams. You can learn a lot just by watching him.
