How do you want Dead by Daylight to "end"?
Because, I don't expect the game to die anytime soon, but if the game's story were to ever come to a full close, how would you like to see it happen?
Personally, I'd love to see a game-mode where you fight directly against the entity, or work with the killers as the survivors. Maybe even a singe player story campaign where you get to escape the realm.

I don't want DBD to ever end tbh. If this anniversary chapter is bad the game will probably die faster then you think it would. Just look at the last few months, playercount is going down every. single. day. It's all or nothing this time. They just need to focus on QOL of the game and get rid of the (terrible) SBMM / MMR system...

Actually the steam chart numbers has been standing still currently as it's been fluctuating slightly back and forth between it's current numbers of average players, also even if the numbers aren't stabilized currently then it sooner or later will be because there are people who refuses to stop playing dbd no matter what.

They should end it with a Campaign like the other person said, then begin work on a DBD 2 that has a campaign that follows up on one of the endings, or some sort of Part Two where the Entity revives itself, since it seems to be some sort of Living thing, it may fake it's death as a defense mechanism or be infected and become a host for something else
