Why is the bleed out timer 4 minutes?
This bothers me for a multiple reasons. Sometimes I lose the last survivor if they were on the ground, I have to spend 3-4 minutes looking for them until they eventually bleed out or EGC ends.
As a survivor you have to deal with killers slugging for the 4k (which happens in a majority of games at high mmr, that time wasted adds up quickly) or letting you bleed out to be “toxic” (usually happens if I loop someone for a long time)
I personally think the timer needs to be decreased, or survivors should have an option to “give up” after being slugged after a certain period of time. Just sick of this wasted time, and I’m sure I’m not the only one.

How much would you decrease it?
Too much and you are buffing killers in unhealthy way. Bleeding people to death would be viable option in some scenarios instead of hooking them I think.
I am not sure about give up option and would it affect solo q negatively. It could make people prone to impulsive behaviour to rage quit often for example.

If the timer is decreaced then Knockout nurse will be meta.
And trust me, facing a Knockout nurse is pure AIDS if you are in SoloQ.

To encourage the killer to hook. However, hooking is not always the best action but it is one that should be encouraged, lowering the timer incentivizes killers to just ignore the hook system entirely and strictly go for bleedouts as knocking someone down and wasting minimal time(no pick up animation, no walking to a hook, no hook animation)to get into your next chase would be best.

I don't think the timer should be reduced at all in any case.
But I do think it's kind of funny how they took away the ability to attempt to struggle off hook if you were the last survivor in the match because it contributed to "wasting time", while they never cared about how the killer can decide to waste four minutes (literally FOUR TIMES the amount of time a petty survivor could waste if he just sat on hook instead of attempting to struggle off) of time if he just decides to slug out the last survivor instead of hooking them.
In my experience, that happens far more often than a survivor just sitting on hook instead of attempting to struggle off ever did.
Anyways, that was a bit of a tangent. Idk what could be done for your presented issue, as both solutions I can think of are even less ideal (faster bleed out or a "KMS" button LOL)

Yeah, having a "give up" on the ground would be awesome. Too many killers slug people to death just because they can

If you lose the last survivor that is your own fault. You should have hooked them; you became selfish for the 4K, so now you get too suffer and wait. Simple enough.

Ooooooh a twins buff idea!

People seem happy enough to ragequit even with a penalty slapped on them. I don't know if a give up option would affect too much.

I hope it comes with features like "if nobody is changing perks or loadout in the lobby, the game start immediately" so i don't have to wait the additional minute every game and "if all living survivor are in range X of an open gate they get sucked out and the trial ends" without me having to either feeding their egos and give them an audience or trying to push them out to be petty one last time with dead hard or fainting a gifted hit.
I can't count how much time i have lost to that stuff while never letting someone bleed out intentionally.

If it was any less than 4 minutes that could make tactical bleedouts (instead of hooking) a more viable strategy which it doesn’t need to be.
