The new prestige system sounds great, that’s probably my favorite announcement. 🙂 I’m also looking forward to trying some bot matches for the heck of it. Plus if the bots work out well for the devs they might consider having them replace disconnected players like they do on the mobile version which would also be a nice change.
The big perk and basekit rework sounds interesting but no details so far so it’s hard to be too excited on that yet. I’m sure it’ll be good though. The new killer looks pretty fun so I’m looking forward to trying it out.
The rest didn’t mean much to me personally but it all sounded like good changes for the game overall. Even the silly dating game will probably give some people a laugh.

It's tough to choose between the new prestige system or the 40+ perk changes.
As someone with all survivors P3 lvl 50, and most killers P3 lvl 50, all I have to do is lvl up the new survivor and killer at each release, which makes the grind almost non existant for me (about 5 million bp for each).
Tho I'm also hyped for the meta shake up, genuinely the first time I've actually been excited for the future of DbD for a long time. If they really can make gens take a bit longer and give means to counter camping and tunneling without need of bringing perks, then I can finally play both roles again without feeling like I have to bring slowdown/second chance perks to stand a chance.
In the end I'm gonna have to go with meta shake up, the thought of not feeling forced to run certain perks to counter dumb strategies is just amazing.

New prestige system seems incredible.
If you have everything then 150 bloodwebs is all you need per new character to be up to speed again on every character.
With the current system its more then 5 times that much. Also completely removes the randomness

Im most exited about the possible changes to base game mechanics which could evolve around the meta perk rework. (Gen Speed, Tunneling, Camping the core issues for player dissatisfaction). That was like the top point of my list what i wanted for the game and i was suprised that this topic showed up.
Second are the the general perk reworks, having like 30 "new perks" at once of course stole the show and the Map Rework of RPD which was also important to not cause a second haddonfield situation.
The stream allover was great to watch and it was a good first anniversary event to partake for me with the focus on the community and the health state of the game rather than just the dlc which is great and additonal to that i really like the killer as well (even though he needs some power adjustments)

Meta perk changes and prestige. Really hoping Dead Hard, camping, and the slowdown meta all get dumpstered.

Meta perk changes for me definitely. This should actually have an effect on how matches go and feel.
Prestige system is nice and all but… I reached pretty much a point where I don’t am personally that affected by the grind (still very much appreciated and getting to play new characters will feel nicer as you will not be as limited)

Way too many, currently favoring the prestige perk unlocking. I have a fair amount of survivors P3d (Ace, Dwight, Claudette, Bill, and Yui) and some that have some prestige (Ash, Adam, Jeff, and Steve), so it's very cool to have some of the worst perks out of the way and some of the best ones immediately unlocked, and is a great incentive I wanted to P3 characters (currently trying to P3 Zarina because I'm addicted to For The People). Overall a really nice change that I feel rewarded for prestiging, and was a better change than I'd ever anticipated they'd do. Great job this time, BHVR.

I'm absolutely loving the positive reaction to yesterday's stream. A lot of work went into that, and it's great to see it being received so well.
I am so excited about everything that was mentioned (yes I am naturally very excitable), I'm just looking forward to being able to share more details with everyone about what we have coming up!

To be honest I was a fan of every announcement except the Final Kill thing. I would prefer that instead of automatically killing someone we down in end game we have the option to do what ever we'd like. Feels more natural that way and it's better for player interaction. If they're worried about last survivor slugging for bleedout add an "opt out" option for survivors in the dying state if they're the last alive.

The perk overhaul
I'm both excited and worried to see how it'll turn out.
Not a knock at BHVR, I'm just worried what changes will be made to perks that imo are pretty fine as is. Like Pain res for example.

Can I just say that, unlike the 5th Anniversary, having actual dates to look forward even if they change and the promise of further communication feels so, so refreshing and good and even if it doesn't happen that often in future too just knowing roughly what to expect and when, as well as most of the changed being things that were requested, is such a massive positive.

I'm very glad to hear that...it's something that we're very conscious of.
I'd love to be able to sit here and give exact dates - but as we all know, things can go wrong, get delayed, whatever...so I do think a rough estimate of when we plan to release something (and then update if we cannot make that schedule for example) is definitely the way to go.

I think the PR and basically all regression nerfs are in the same category as BT nerf. Part of it is being made base kit so its getting nerfed (hopefully both a good basekit regression and slower gen speeds in this case)

It's hopefully going to help the SBMM system to work better at the wonky hours I play, and also means that - as I've come to enjoy both roles - I'll get some more BP.

I was very happy about the new progression system... then sad because of the rewards for achieving P3 before the update... now I'm happy again after Mandy clarified it.
Think I will try prestiging most characters if I have time because I think I'll regret it if I don't.

I am a huge Attack on Titan fan, so probably that. I doubt I will even buy the skins as I hate survivor and titans are lowkey ugly. Maybe the Beast Titan skin if it is on a killer I play frequently.
