Blight's Double Speed Add-Ons
I think everyone agrees that Blight has some add-ons that "are a wee bit over powered". I have two ideas for balancing changes relating to his Blighted Crow and Blighted Rat Add-Ons :
Increase fatigue for each consecutive rush by .2 seconds and .3 seconds (respectively)
This would add a whole 2 seconds of fatigue if Blight decides to run his tokens dry while using both speed add-ons
OR
Decrease turn rate by some amount.
I would love to hear some other ideas!

I would just remove Speed Add Ons aka make them do something entirely different. Adding a huge fatique to them would make them pretty uncomfortable to use. I dont run Add Ons on Blight, but I would not run the Speed Add Ons if I really have like 2 seconds fatique after using all my Rushes.

I don't think they're an issue, Alchemist Ring and Compound Thirty-Three need nerfs however

I like speed add-ons, my suggestion was based around how billy's engravings work. Obviously Blight doesn't have to charge his rush up like billy does.

First of all, Blight has a great basekit mixed with likely the best set of addons in the game. Seriously everything from yellow to iridescent is high end.
My issue with the Blighted Rat and Blighted Crow addons is [I believe] they not only massively increase movement speed, but his lunge attack coming out of the rush, too. The faster ‘rush’ lunge is what makes these addons so difficult to play around.
Without these, his rush lunge feels considerably slower and in a way feels like it could be juked.
So my suggestion is for BHVR to review his lunge coding.

Is it the pallet breaking part of C33 or the hindering? Or is it both?

I had no idea his lunge was faster with the add-ons. Do you know if the extra lunge speed lets him flick further?

I think the speed addons are fine because they only reward consecutive rushes so only if the blight goes in with a plan and rushes well can they get value out of them on top of incentivizing using multiple rushes so there already is a longer power cooldown compared to no speed adddons on average and a skillgap required to use them effectively.

I don’t have an official confirmation. It is my assumption that it does based on playing as and against him a considerable amount.
The lunge feels different with the addons.

Imo just significantly reduce their effects and/or replace them with something completely different. I don’t think extra fatigue would be terribly fun to play with.

The speed addons dont affect the lunge, or at least shouldn't unless they bugged them. Cause I remember playing double speed 1.0 blight (short blight with the basic collision detection) and remember my lunge being super slow when lunging out of rush.

technically they do affect lunge because of how speeds in this game work but mathematically they would only affect it for ~0.176 of a second (rough math) its not that much especially considering it decreases that quickly even if it was a flat speed during that time likely with math and rounding its somewhere between a ~1/3 of a meter of extra lunge or possibly (0.43 meters) difference only at top speed with double speed addons and only really affects a lunge that would go the full distance which is the easiest to dodge at that point

I don't think they actually affect the Lunge speed, it seems to be the same regardless of how fast you're going beforehand.

How would people feel if the addons got nerfed but a small portion of 'speed ramp up' was added to his basekit rushes?
Like he gains a small % of speed each rush, not quite as much as the addons but still something
I don't think they are good in their current state but it's been a while since I faced a Blight using them so it's hard to tell atm

movement speed affects lunges. When Blight was on PTB, he had standard lunge in lethal rush.
After his PTB, one of his buffs was that Mc lean(I think) increased his lunge movement speed. I think the number i remember reading was that his lunge is moves at 7.2 m/s. The movement speed add-ons increase his lunge movement speed further and they are critical parts of blight's anti-loop toolkit with hug tech(gliding along walls).
weaken speed add-ons and removing hug tech(like Mandy comment) would be massive negative changes to blight. Look like survivor again getting their way into weakening another killer after his outstanding good PTB changes.

His speed addons are not an issue at all. If you actually know how to play against his power it isn't an issue.

Please don't change these, the Compound and Iri add-ons and Alc Ring are the only genuinely problematic ones

being able to move at 13m/s and being able to 180 flick and stuff is pretty strong. its not just a little advantage. on several tiles (especially shack, 4 wall, TL Jungle Gym). And unlike billy's engravings - which is the equivalent to blights blighted animal add-ons - they have no downside.

You can nerf Alc ring, Vial, C33, C21, but don't mess with us speed addon addicts.
Even if they're a bit too powerful, I don't care. Speed is life.
