Overzealous is underwhelming.

What do you all think?

Oooo, honestly a nice little buff! I'll never run a boring yet problematic perk like this regardless, but at least this would make it slightly more interesting and useful.

Still would be underwhelming tbh. I don't think it needs to deactivate when you lose a health state even lol.

I really don't understand the thinking that goes into perks like Overzealous and Boon: Dark Theory. Like obviously they recognise that increasing repair and movement speed is very quickly going to be gamebreaking at any significant value, so they make them insignificant and they become awful perks that aren't worth the slot.

Just stay away from affecting stats like that and make a half-decent perk instead.

That's OP and Fair, It's practically a pocket SWF. NICE!

Edit: I didn't see the cleanse totem condition. It would have been better for it to be active at all times.

    This.

Dark Theory and Overzealous are horribly designed Perks, because they provide a really strong effect but have to be super-weak to not be broken, which results in them being useless Perks which cannot really be buffed.

(Aside from adding second effects like OP mentioned, but even then, they are bad)

When it comes to Dark Theory, I really wish they would try something like 4%. Maybe there could be situations where it could get out of hand, but seeing as how it would be pretty situational, I think they could buff the effect without breaking it, to a degree where it could actually be kind of good, or decent at least.

Right now Dead Hard pretty much does the same as Dark Theory, but better, and without an area restriction. Of course that perk is most likely getting nerfed, but still.

Overzealous is arguably more dangerous to buff. One suggestion I saw is to have it also affect healing, totem cleansing, opening gates and all kinds of other action speeds. Would be at least seomthing. I also think 6/7/8 % would be fine.

Even 4% speed is nuts. Thats between 1/3 to 1/2 of the difference between you and the killer. Staying near Dark Theory could up to double the duration of your chase.

I think that the amount of time before the effect wears off is the key to balancing Overzealous. Right now it's just a few seconds, but make it so that it's a full 60 seconds and can be refreshed by going into the radius.

Interesting to note about this Perk: It takes you working 3.09 gens, by yourself, before you gain back the time it takes to break a totem. So even with your buff, it's absolutely horrid and will never be used.

Some people are arguing about the totem requirement, but I don't think the requirement for cleansing a totem is awful in any way, cause this way the boost becomes something "earned", kinda like Resilience requires you to take the risk by being injured and Spine Chill makes you choose if you'll stay put or leave the gen.

And to be fair I think having a bigger boost that could result in gens flying faster than normal would be much more boring than what it currently does.

I think it's a lot better than anyone is giving it credit for. Knowing where the furthest along gen is very powerful information.
