What's the point of Sadako's stealth when you can tell when she's close?
You can hear her staticy sounds pretty clearly while she's close to you, what's the point of her stealth if the only thing it hides is the direction she's coming from? Isn't that kinda pointless? But maybe I'm just overreacting, the only Sadako I played against from her initial release was two weeks ago, which is kinda sad.
I also wish she wasn't so loud while doing most of the things related to her power, her loudness basically removes any fancy tricks you could do with your TVs while in a chase if they weren't so goddamn loud.
I wish she was a better Killer in general, but her power just doesn't allow that.

Wraith also has this with his breathing and shimmer tbf

Yes, but you cannot hear his breathing until he's really close, unlike Sadako who's staticy sounds can be heared within 24 meters.

Killers can't be too powerful or survivors will leave the game. #truth

Not sure about Sadako, but you can hear EVERY stealth killer when they are near you:
Wraith gnarls.
Myers breathes.
GF has flappy clothes.
Pig can be heard when she unsheathed her blade.
2 -
Of course, that's fine, but the sounds these Killers produce cannot be heared from a large distance like the Sadako's static.
3 -
All of those are up-close cues, though; you'll only hear them when the killer is a few meters away from you. Sadako's effect is large enough to be a terror radius, which kills the point of stealth (especially when she isn't hard to see, either.) All of this together, demanifestation has very little point besides being the thing you have to do so you can teleport to a TV.
As an aside, Ghostface's giveaway sound effect is so quiet that it may as well be perfect stealth. Pig's breathing is also pretty soft, but she'll make a louder sound cue by uncrouching or ambushing, so it's not as useful.

Ok, I guess I have not played enough against sadako, bc I really don't know what sound effects you talk about. That might also be the reason why she always surprises me :-/.

Oh, I can give you a hint on how it sounds like, it sounds exactly or very similary to the static in the main menu when you have her selected, Survivors can hear that static from 24 meters, which is a pretty large tell if I may say.
Also there are like 3 people who actively play Sadako, so don't feel bad for not even seeing her often, if she isn't buffed, those 3 remaining people will probably switch to the Dredge instead sadly, since it's superior in every way compared to Sadako.

That cannot be true, if it's directional, then that's a bug, all lullabies should be non-directional iirc.

Because unlike wraith, she can uncloak practically instantly and without global sound cues, and unlike ghostface, her stealth has no cooldown and can't be revealed. She's also got the TV's to teleport to, and the flickering invisibility, and the short height. Sure, it's a little harsh, but it's pretty hard to hear and without it she'd be better at stealth than wraith and ghostface, which doesn't make sense considering her power involves stealth, insane mobility, minor game slow with condemned, zero hook moris with condemned at any time in the match potentially, and even some limited chase power with her height and phasing. She's still not a super strong killer, but if played well can still do better than many say.

And yet none of them have a lullaby and Onryo pointlessly does.

Almost better at stealth than Wraith and Ghostface? Ghostface is practically silent and can attack or grab you straight out of stealth, not to mention Marked being miles better than Condemned in every realistic way. Wraith is translucent, which is far superior concealment than 'fully visible but image stutters', and he also gets a speed boost when he reveals himself, which Sadako doesn't get (and demanifesting might be quicker than uncloaking, but it's not immediate.) He also has his own mobility power baked in, and the uncloaking time is there to prevent him from being able to catch up to survivors immediately no matter what and drop a hit on their back. Sadako can't do that. I think trimming down a 110 killer's full terror radius of static down into normal killer-is-very-close-to-you noises isn't too much to ask for.
Like, I get the idea that Sadako is designed to be a jack of all trades and a master of none, and that you wouldn't want her to be better than other killers and have more stuff on the pile... but two of the three aspects of her power barely work. She's got map mobility. That's kind of it, because her stealth tells survivors that she's nearby, and survivors have to actively ignore the Condemned mechanic and the game has to drag on for a while for there to even be a chance of her lethality power going off. In a normal length game, survivors can get away with ignoring it. And did you really call being short a chase power?

If you read that bug report thread on Onryo's Lullaby it sounds like the person who reported it doesn't know the difference between her lullaby and other sounds she makes when projecting and manifesting.
All lullabies are non-directional, including Sadako's.

In case you're curious the official DbD wiki page on Lullabies has clips of all of them. Here's Sadako's.
P.S. The link doesn't seem to want to work on the forum, but you can find it on the bottom of the Terror Radius/Lullaby page

Yes

Imo her lullaby radius should be reduced (again).

To run survs away from you to point and teabag.

Because BHVR is terrified of making strong killers.
2 -
Sadako is a killer designed by a committee of people who have never played the killer role.
She's TERRIBLE and this is AFTER a bunch of buffs from her PTR version. Like, who in the world would design Sadako in her original state? It's unfathomable that anybody who has ever touched this game would pile so many restrictions, limits, weaknesses, power tells, and deficiencies into one package.

Hope she will getting buff.

She's not really a stealth killer tbh, just has a small terror radius.

Not to mention pallet stunning Spirit out of phase has never been easier

I'm about 90% certain that her lullaby is directional. It's incredibly hard to determine direction past about 16m but within that range I've had instances where I could tell which direction she was coming from.
Praying to the gods that whatever it is giving survivors a sound cue when she's nearby gets removed.

Other stealth killers you can hear when they are just few meters from you.
Sadako is like "Hey I am here around!" Within medium range distance. It's garbage.

There isn’t a point. A stealth killer with a lullaby makes no sense and defeats the entire point. If they would just give no sound notification to tv teleports it would up her skill ceiling and give her a lot more potential for mind games. Also as you referenced they really should make Undetectable silence all killer noises such as breathing, footsteps, clothes flapping ect. It hurts it a lot. Oh and Undetectable should not allow you to be countered with Spine Chill.

You're right, her stealth is kinda pointless, Killer with a lullaby that reaches the edge of her Terror Radius doesn't make any sense.
I hope her buff will adress that, since she's a joke right now.
