Hooks should respawn after someone dies on them
There are many times where if a person dies on a certain hook, it becomes impossible to hook survivors that are downed near the broken hook. Particularly indoor maps, and hooks near corners have this issue. Sometimes survivors will drag the game out by crawling to a corner and be unable to be hooked because the nearest hook is gone.
I think this is an outdated mechanic that serves no purpose other than to deny the killer hook states, and waste everyone's time. Hooks should respawn 30 seconds after a sacrifice, just like they were sabotaged. That will buy some times for multiple slugged survivors near the hook, but still allow the killer to hook survivors that are abusing the unhookable area.

Agree. 100% outdated mechanic that has no good reason to exist

I honestly agree, especially with the addition of Scourge Hooks. Maybe even make it longer, like a minute maybe, but it needs to be gone that hooks are permanently destroyed.
Especially with the reworks, if they are buffing Monstrous Shrine or something, they can find some other way to make basement hooks more deadly.

My thought for monstrous shrine has been that it's a scourge hook with the same effects it has now, but also that it turns the basement hooks into scourge hooks. That would be very cool.

I can see how it works on old maps as it's not often a hook is unreachable from any spot, hence why it's likely still there to slightly help survivors.
But I agree on new/indoor maps, this is both bad for killers and survivors as they will just be slugged and it wastes a lot of time on both sides.

I always try to hook the last survivor even with no hooks around at least once. But if they go back to the same place I picked them up, then I have no problems leaving them bleed out ;)

Wow, I had no idea... what a RIP. Yea, that perk is utterly useless as you still can't actually stop them from sabotaging it usually. Like oh you are sabotaging my hooks, I see your aura... who cares?
