No Mither Shouldn't Injure You
Yeah, I know that title sounds leading and would you believe it, it is. No, it shouldn't injure you, instead, it should give you the exposed status effect, it's as simple as that, exposed status effect for the entire game, you can "heal" but you'll still be instadown regardless, no more feeding oni as soon as we start

I just want it so they killer cant see u are broken and u start healthy, show broken icon if you get up once

I suggested this very thing in the last whiny thread about No Mither.
If you're just exposed the killer won't know until they hit you the first time, you don't automatically start the match punishing the rest of your party should the Killer bring Thanataphobia, and people could heal you to "healthy" after you've been unhooked to help avoid that penalty, but you still just go down in one hit no matter what.

No I want my free blood orbs.

just makes sense right?

I've thought the same, permanent Exposed in exchange for the self-pickup and injured sound/blood decrease, though I did just think of something I hadn't seen mentioned before. What about Special Attacks that don't down Exposed survivors? Should those still be allowed to down in one hit or should the normal rules apply?
An alternative idea I thought of:
Whenever to enter the Injured State, you become Broken for X/Y/Z seconds, while broken your grunts if pain are reduced, you leave no blood, and you can pick yourself up from the Dying State. These bonuses also apply if you are rendered Broken by any means.
You play normally, but get stuck in a state where you can't heal for however long.

Leave me alone oni :(

I think the no mither exposed status, just comes with its benefits such as avoiding m2 attacks as you said. the injured status and the broken status should be left out of this imo

If No Mither was an Exposed status effect rather than a Broken status effect, then you could no longer play Adept David properly, since you won't be able to Dead Hard anymore (or at least, not until you go down the first time and then you'll have to make sure no one heals you back to full)

so letting the killer know you can recover from the dying state, is a more ideal situation than getting an achievement

Just saying, if they change the perk, then David's perks won't synergize anymore. I wasn't talking about the achievement, but the fact that if you play David with only his base perks then one of them will be useless.
And if you don't want the killer to know you can bring yourself back up an infinite number of times, bring Unbreakable or Boon: Exponential. The fact you can pick yourself up infinitely is offset by the fact you're broken the entire game. That's a tradeoff YOU decide to make by picking that perk.

I think recovering from the dying state as many times as you want is definitely not useless, but letting the killer know you have the ability to do that seriously sucks. because then no mither is out right useless on it's own regardless in its current state

And that's exactly why No Mither comes with the Broken status effect. Otherwise it's a super powerful perk with literally no downside. People run Unbreakable because getting yourself up once, with no other downside, is better than getting yourself an infinite number of times but being broken through the whole match.

But there still is a downside what do you mean??? you're still exposed the whole match I seriously don't get it. unbreakable only once no downside. no mither, infinite times, downside: instadown, how does that not make sense. I'm not saying no mither is a good perk, personally yes I would use unbreakable over no mither, but I just wanna see it be balanced so it's more of a viable perk to use, in its current state it has to be paired with iron will to even be viable because it doesn't completely silence your groans. Still instadown, Still the exact same perk it was, you can still be injured and use dead hard if you so choose to not get healed by your teammates. doesn't tell the killer you have no mither. that is the bonus. doing the tome challenge made me realize how awful no mither is without any other perks equipped.

One way I'd fix it, taking your suggestion into account, is make David initially Exposed, but once he goes down that first time, he becomes Broken for the rest of the match. So the killer wouldn't know David is running No Mither until he downs him once. Only having the Exposed status the whole match would make it weird "Why did that survivor go down in one hit? I don't run anything.. ooh he's broken now, no mither I get it"
0 -
wouldn't that just be unbreakable?

No more starting injured and permanent broken status, and definitely no permanent exposed status either. Some of your teammates may want you to be able to hook trade with them if needed, you know?
Rework it entirely.

That would kill the No Mither + Resilience combo at early game, and that is the only sinergy this perk has.

The exposed effect doesn't work with killer damaging powers, so I don't think it would be a good change, considering the perk is supposed to be a "hard mode" for survivors who wish it.

No mither should at least let you start with both health states and afterwards permanent broken status

The point is that you’re on one hit from down at all times, meaning that any power that can properly injure can and will do it. Changing the injury to be exposed doesn’t allow that.

The exposed status comes with its benefits, need I say more.

The whole point of no mither is the ability to get the effects of being injured for other perks. The devs have mentioned it before.
2 -
no... because unbreakable doesn't apply the broken status effect....

I think an alternate would be to have another perk or two that starts you as injured and broken .
Something like recover exhausted while running at half speed and double while not running.
