Can we close 1 or 2 Garden of Joy windows?
Like its seriously ridiculous how many god windows are on the garden of joy house.

The map isn't nice with most killers I suspect.

No its fine literally anywhere else but the house.

I’ve barely seen much gameplay so I’ll have to find out tonight when I return to DBD.

You'll be getting that map almost every match. Its high in the rotation.

Stop crying it's fine lol. They are spread out to the point where it's not an issue lol

Really only played there once, but second floor felt like absolute hell to see anything, and the ground around the map has too much "visual polution", made it kinda troublesome for me to follow some scratches and bloods. First impression is that I didn't like it too much.
Heard some people saying this too. I found it lacking on lockers on some huge zones of the map that include generators and totems, made it pretty much impossible to control these zones as Dredge, and I can only imagine the pain for Huntress and Trickster, but other than that and the visual polution, it seemed fine overall.

Exactly.

Uh no, there are two god windows in very close proximity to each other.
2 -
The ones in the pink room next to each other are fine. It takes long enough to run back up, you can hit them after a vault.

The house is way too dark for some reason. In a match today, I literally couldn't see the survivor I was chasing when they ran upstairs.

the map for me is literally fine everywhere else on the map, had a clown on it and it played perfectly fine the size is also fair. the only issue with this map is luckily just the main building having too many god windows

A poetic way survivors can use the dark against the darkness. But it also may make a very good hiding spot for the immersed Ghostface.

It's another episode of "insanely strong main building/you lose if you chase into it early/mid and meh/ok rest of the map!"
3 -
Everyone just runs straight to the building and you can get to it from pretty much anywhere.
Fun.

No structure should have any god windows let alone 3, no mind game potential or even a round about at any of them, just vault and chase which by the way makes it an actual infinite for 110 killers who don't have movement speed abilities. This dev team has shown themselves time and time again they have either no desire or no capability to make a map balanced and fair.

I played yesterday as survivor using the perk "Windows of Opportunity" and I was against a Nemesis who was very good at mindgames and stuff like that. My main concern about the new house in the Garden of Joy is that upstairs is very very dark in some rooms. Other than that, I've been able to vault 3 of the 4 god windows and the killer can catch up to you. It's not an infinite. If you fall from the top, you will get a slowdown, allowing the killer to catch up to you. Other than that, it's not really that big of a deal in my opnion for now.

It is? I am on ps5 so I could play only 3 games on it, and every time the pallet density in the middle was out of the charts.

It seems fine to me. The map is super small with barely any good loops aside from the main house, so I think there should be at least a couple of strong loops present.

I wish they would stop making new maps

Less than 24 hours have passed and there are already the first complaints.
The map is fine.

exactly, im glad one of the forum veterans agree

oh God I am a forum veteran and I don't like that

the amount of time that consumes. lets say 2 minutes if youre lucky, 1 if youre extremely lucky. now how many hooks does a survivor have? 3x4 is 12 and the fact that 1 hit can take you to the house and then because the chase is already started it cuts the time short. but in most cases these windows will save 1 minute every single chase that goes to the house. if everyone hides and then runs to the house when found its an even bigger problem. the gen spread is insane. the map is a timewaster and the house makes it worse. 110 means you are guaranteed to barely have any pressure. i had only 3 matches as huntress on this map and its painful for slow killers and the jungle gyms are weird but decently strong. the windows have the t wall issue of double backs, except a 110 killer cant move fast enough and a smart survivor will only play the window if they have to. run a loop around the jungle gym and you guarantee safety, hell if they respect the pallet you have ANOTHER fast vault. and you see over the walls meaning you have safe vaults. the map is broken for surv. the main issue is the house, the house should only have the upstairs window and the window that is by the back

yep i remember you from my last time here, if im correct you were one of the levelheaded people that didnt have bias
0 -
I was really hoping they would nerf it from the PTB, because it kinda ruins what would otherwise be a pretty fun map.
0 -
Everyone has a bias.
It's whether or not you recognize it that matters.
0 -
I agree. The main building of this map is ridiculously good for survivors.
Even RPD isn't this bad.

I hate the garden of (no) joy

I hate that map so much. I just refuse to go inside a house and try to force 3-gen somewhere in corner.
But even then most of those loops have weird hitboxes that get everyone stuck, or some random items to block you.
