What is the point in Nurse?
I'm probably missing something, is it an inside joke? Have stopped playing as nurse since winning every game is not fun.
Is it fun to play against nurse? It doesn't seem to be?

The original design of DBD was fun> balance. While the devs tried to create things balanced, they were far more willing to create things a little overpowered if it was considered fun. Its only really in the last 2 years, the devs have strived for balance and have been willing to nerf things that that have been a staple of the game for the sake of blanch. There are so many overpowered things, and they only change it one at time, that there are still plenty of traces of the old design philosophy. But yes Nurse should be nerfed to better reflect the new direction of DBD.

The point is that Behaviour caved in to the entitled survivor brats and nerfed her to the ground. She is just unplayable now.
This same formula repeats in history. Whenever there is a cool and strong killer that is actually enjoyable to play, the devs eventually nerf it to unplayability. They did the same to Spirit. Her ability is now pointless.
I am currently actually enjoying playing Sadako, but Im sure devs will nerf her as well. Since its not allowed to have fun in this game.

Playing against Nurse is weird in the sense if she is good its pointless because you are going down no matter what, if she is bad is pointless because she will get 1 or 2 hooks by the time all gens are fixed, no matter what kind of Nurse you get, its always dull.
Playing as Nurse? I agree with you, unless your fun derives on getting 4K after 4K without much effort she gets boring fast, once you get good enough with her there isnt any challenge left, its not even entertaining to see people play her and Nurse is not as hard as people believe, its just the learning curve is brutal because if you dont blink you dont get anything done, unlike Hillbilly, Blight or Huntress who still can M1 thanks to being 115% and 110% speed Killers.
Also DBD was more stealth oriented the first years, maps were HUGE, the fog was super dense, Survivors had darker clothes, maps were much darker too etc. Stealth is the only real counter to Nurse since she cant patrol the tiles very fast, she can jump from tile to tile but if she wants to check rocks, trees and LoS blockers she has to walk and that takes a ton of time, now stealth has almost completely disappeared from the game with all those things gone and a plethora of aura reading perks, the only natural counter to her just doesnt exist anymore.

You telling that nurse and spirit are unplayable while nurse is still #1 and there are still exist a bunch of killers like pig, twins etc.
So it probably was only fun to killer at release and same thing now.
The problem that game designers don't give a fvck about broken killers, doesn't matter it's overpowered nurse or poor pig or twins. They wont rework nurse power ever, believe me.

Spirit nerf was too much but nurse is still OP and needs total rework. She should be like oni at start normal m1 killer and then she has to earn her power.

There is no way to make a m1 killer out of someone who runs slower than the survivors. To play her, you must utilize the blink absolutely perfectly, which is too much to ask most of the time against experienced survivor SWFs, where you need to teleport merely to patrol the gens.
There needs to be some other balancing factors added to her and blink improved. OR make her speed to be the standard speed of 4.6. Then it would matter less what the blink is like.
Spirit nerf just similarly showcases how inept the devs are at developing their own game. She runs faster from point A to point B on foot instead of standing still to charge the phase and then phase from A to B. That is just ludicrously bad. Because she can't even CATCH the survivors with the phase, its utterly useless for mindgaming the survivors now, which was the fun part of playing her earlier.
Devs seriously have no clue anymore. They probably put the guy from accounting on the job to balance the killers.
ps. The worst part is that the game continues to be develop around the idea of "letting the survivors do what they want" which is just run around like chicken without a care in the world (they should be slaughtered for doing that). We should go back to the days where survivors actually had to hide from the killer to survive.

Because she’s not a “free win” she literally takes hours to learn. You act as if Nurse is the easiest killer in the game.

It takes hours, before you get "free wins" over and over again, so she's fair.

Not every Nurse killer gets a so called “free win” every match. You can master any killer in the game and have bad matches.

Play it for like an hour or two and you get the hang of it, survivors literally cannot avoid you unless they time a dead hard, not exactly thrilling gameplay.

The only way you can have a 'bad match' as nurse is if you're not trying or you get lag.

This game would be better if Nurse actually got nerfed to the ground. If you think that’s actually what happened then I genuinely don’t know what to say. She still shits on most teams with little to no counterplay.

There are 2 types of nurses.
Pro nurses, who down you in 2 seconds and casual nurses.
While the former is no fun at all, the later is very much fun because it is a constant game of who can outpredict who better, with lots of good tricks and chases and stuff.

If you're unlucky enough to not be at the level where you play against casual nurses, it's a waste of a game and time.

Nurse is the only barrier for SWF teams to become unbeatable.
Therefore they try all to get her out of the way.

Vs a good SWF survivor group, most killers are not all that viable. Nurse is one of these viable killers that has a chance.

Might be a good idea to only let nurse play against swf? Can't imagine Behaviour taking good suggestions on board though.
