Dear God nerf bubba already. He should not go so fast when swinging an AoE instadown.

Such an unfun killer to play against.

Broken as hell.

I agree with this, despite it sounding too whiny,

But really what are options against Bubba charging at you with his chainsaw?

Well you could try tightly looping him around anything in hopes he will bump into it, but good Bubba won't do that.

Can you decieve him with your movement and 360 him?

I'm not sure if that's even worth the risk considering the huge AOE hitbox it has.

Oh I know, you can **Pre Drop Pallets**

Oh wow that is such a fun gameplay for both sides, predropping pallets..

Oh gee everyone should play more Bubba...

Bubba's perfectly balanced when you remove his ability to camp without counter. His instadown has a charge period that means windows pretty much immediately counter it, as do pallets (though windows are preferable on several levels.) He also can't hug walls nearly as tight as you can while using his saw, so you have last-ditch options like hugging a rock or jumping into a locker and jumping back out after the tantrum. The principle isn't that different from Billy, Plague, or Trickster - dead zones get you killed versus Bubba, so you have to rely on terrain and resources.

The only way you'll ever stop camping with him without fully changing his power is making it so he slowly loses his chainsaw charges if he's not engaging in a chase - So if he's camping by the time a survivor goes for an unhook he'll have no power to chainsaw camp.

However while in chase I feel he should rapidly get those charges back in the theme of he is ready to throw a tantrum or is hunting like the movies.

Isn't this like your 10th post about Bubba? When do you plan on learning how to play against him?

I still think Bubba is a terrible killer but realistically the solution has been there this whole time and BHVR even tried a half assed version of it (No offense BHVR I get why) with the whole you lose rank while camping nonsense. I feel the issue doesn't even need to be resolved with punishing camping but more so not making use out of your killers kit. Bubba is a killer that engages in chases therefore if he's not chasing he's not able to use his power - Pretty straight forward.

I would like buffs for Bubba overall but not ones that reward camping.

I mean, I totally get it. I just think that that's not a bad way to handle the camping thing in a way that doesn't impact his chase or can't be abused by Survivors.

The original Bubba should have been a Legacy 3 Claudette for more realism on bullying in DBD.

I used Lithe to get away from Bubba.

He started swinging his chainsaw and damn near caught up with me within 5 seconds.

I am forced to pre-drop pallet.

    He insta-breaks pallet.

I am holding W to gain as much ground as possible.

Doesn't matter. Bubba immediately goes into another chainsaw swinging chasedown.

Immediately catches up to me within 4 seconds.

and this time I try to turn REALLY tight corners, walls, doesn't matter, he turns right with me and boom insta downs.

From healthy to downed with no counter play. No windows were nearby on this part of the map.

What a joke of a killer.

Sounds like a you problem. Don't get caught in a dead zone vs Bubba

I have high survivor MMR. I am playing against good bubba's.

don't talk to me about the bad bubba's in your low MMR games.

a good bubba shows how broken the killer is. he can use swinging to chase you down even if you have an exhaustion perk, and turn any tight corner to insta down you. it's beyond stupid how they designed this killer and still havent nerfed it.

"dont get caught in a dead zone"

you mean an area of a map with no windows. you know how many maps have huge areas like this?

"Dont play on this part of the map or its RIP" is what you are saying.

Then explore the map better and find the nearest window. Bring Windows of Opportunity to find them more easily since that seems to be your main problem.

Pretty sure it was the childish name calling that did him in
