RIP Jake's perks
Here's Jake's perks rework (before PTB of course):
Nerf:
Iron Will: Grunts of pain reduced to 25/50/75%, desactivates when exhausted.
This perk is used to lose the killer in chase, aka when you're exhausted, even if you believe 75% noise reduciton is enough (it's not, literally no ones runs iron will a T1 & T2 bc it's only good when it's 100%), the perk will be absolutely useless now.
Buffs (?):
Saboteur: You see the auras of scourged hooks in a different color.
No you don't see the auras when the survivor is down. No the cooldown wasn't reduced. Yes saboteur still goes on cooldown when you don't complete the sabotage. Yes the perk is still bad. No it's not a useful buff in any way.
Calm spirit: You also don't make noise when opening chests, breaking or blessing totems.
Kinda weak buff you may think, but wait for it! You also do all of these actions at 40/35/30% reduced speed :D It's not a weak buff my friends, it's a full on nerf :D
anyways i was super excited for the perk reworks and now i preemptively don't want to touch survivor anymore lol

They didn't buff anything they literally nerfed iron will and calm spirit to the ground... why on earth would you nerf calm spirit like wth ??? I mean they also buffed bloodlust which was supposed to get deleted so im not suprised at this point

Iron Will got massacred hard for no good reason. I could get behind the Exhaustion part but 75% basically deletes the perk from the game, it's dumb.

I was definitely not expecting a nerf to Calm Spirit of all things when they announced a meta shakeup. Secret S Tier, I guess.

What a well-defined answer.
Sorry to break it for you, but Iron Will is either 100% or you just dont take Iron Will. Those are the only options, 75% reduction might help against the 5 Console Killers who play with Speakers, but thats about it.
Pre-Nerf Stridor showed how useless Iron Will can be when you bring Stridor, now this level of power is basekit for Iron Will.

RIP Calm Spirit. How anyone would consider doing totems 30% slower is a buff is a mystery to me. They took a perk that not a lot of people run and then penalized the people who run it. I don't understand.

I get Iron Will (though I think it could have been one nerf or the other), and the Saboteur buff has some good uses, but I don't understand the Calm Spirit change at all. Just... why? It's Technician all over again, where you get a buff and a nerf and the nerf is worse than the buff is good. Hell, Calm Spirit would still be a pretty undesirable perk if they hadn't added that stipulation.
I don't understand the balancing department's priorities sometimes.

I mean honestly i can't imagine any of the survivor buffs being useful. Some of them (calm spirit & wglf) are literally nerfs. And a lot of survivor nerfs will literally render the perks useless or are too strong (self-care, iron will, DS, spine chill...). The only good thing about the rework for survivors is the basekit effects added to being unhooked, and even these won't be enough to stop tunneling and don't actually have any effects on camping.
At least this update will definitely bring back killers...
