Freddy.

Why does he have such a high kill rate when he's a basic attack killer. Last time they showed us the kill percentage of all killers he was second behind Pinhead, I don't understand it.

Is it because he can teleport on top of gens and use Pop and Tinkerer, what's up with that. His antiloop feels lack luster, you always have to use 2 snares at a loop to get a hit vs good survivors and sometimes you don't.

Just wondering because when I play him it feels like a m1 killer and not much else.

He is just a M1 Killer tho. Hes like sadako but with some (even if not that good) anti loop.

But his ability to press gens is really good, probably why the high kill %

Its mainly cuz basicly no one plays him. Think that way, the more players play a Killer the lower the average kill rate. Cuz the majority of the palyerbase are just casuals and most likely ######### up and get very few kills. Thats why Nurse has a rather low kill rate, cuz even though shes hard she is still rather popular, especially on consol for some reason.

Since Freddy is really unpopular and barely played only the Freddy mains are playing him, ofc next to some players who just play him once for a daily. Since the mains are most likely veterans who play FOR kills and wins they are most likely gonna win and get a lot of kills and therefore boost up the kill rate.

But ye he is rather weak and really needs some buffs.

Edit: Also a kill rate has nothing to do or say about the balance of a Killer, Legion has also a really high kill rate and has to this day one of the weakest powers in the game.

Freddy had a high kill rate because survivors didn't bother to wake themselves up and didn't change their looping tactics to 'throw pallet and hold W' back when he was on top. So, basically, he did very well because survivors chose to play poorly. He's been nerfed up down and all around, so most people have given up on him. The few who do still play him are likely skilled players, and the character's kill rate looks much higher but only because the sample size is so much smaller.

Because hes an M1 killer his power before more powerfull with the snares, the good thing about his tp is that after bbq you can slipt pressure on gens with pop also using tinkerer you gotta know when stop chasing a survivor, mostly of the killers that run tinkerer they used for remove the red light instead of living a survivor

Its been my experience that a lot of survivors underestimate him n get a bit cocky. Even tho hes not as strong as he used to be, hes got a crazy lunge n can hug loops a little better than other m1s. Combine that with knowin how/when to use tp to bait ppl into running or regress a gen n hes better than most ppl give him credit for.

Because he's not as bad as some people pretend he is. Also, because no TR + gen teleport are basic but very efficient abilities against casual players.

Freddy is popular at lower skill levels because he can do 'everything' (not as well).

    Lower levels are killer sided.
