Is pharmacy working as intended?

If every chest is open how am i supposed to get a medkit with pharmacy? Played a couple rounds with pharmacy and when injured i cannot get a medkit from a opened chest, so in my opinion pharmacy becomes a useless perk cause if all the chests are open how am i supposed to use the perk?

It doesn't let you rummage! It should have at least 1 token IMO to make it more useful... It seems to be working how Intended

than whats the point of running the perk cause if all the chests have been searched the perk is useless, cause i remember the devs saying you could use it multiple times in a match, they never said that the chest had to be unsearched

I wish it was like Haddie's perk! uhh......... Residual Manifest? I think that's the right one. It lets you rummage for the flashlight, not just 'open a chest and there it is'. Works much better that way!

You need a chest that hasn’t been opened and it only functions while injured. But you can use it multiple times while injured.

Barring the addition of a Rummage mechanic to the perk, like Appraisal or Residual Manifest have, there's no reason to assume this wouldn't be the case.

Searching a chest has always meant you had to open one that was locked. Rummaging was always done on opened ones, once the mechanic was introduced.
If a perk says "search" - unopened, "rummage" - opened. It's always been like that.
