The gen speed changes make the trial pacing feel very sluggish
I think every other change in the patch was good. However, adding 10 seconds to every generator kills the pacing of the game. Especially when every killer has a regression/slowdown perk on top of that. Thana feels horrible to play against at the moment, and I have yet to play a game that didn't involve Thana+Pain Resonance.
I'm all for helping out less skilled players and easing frustration. But there has to be a certain point where the expectation is "you have to play well to win". I don't think a killer player needs 90 second gens on top of the tools they have if they're actually playing well. The players are doing something very, very wrong if they consistently need generators to take 120+ seconds.
The game should be fun. I understand there are target kill rates and whatnot, but turning the game into a complete slog for one side isn't the way to go.

imo they should ve added the 10 seconds and then adjusted all other regression/slowdown perks so they take away as much as before.
now that they have increased gen time and buffed slowdown, they doubly buffed all slowdown perks as they now work better since 90 is greater 80 seconds an thats how % works and they buffed the %
I love gradual approaches because they allow you to balance a game in a way that you never accidentally overnerf or overbuff :)
but if you only release 1 balance patch ever 6 months this doesnt work
guess changing numbers is too hard to do on a monthly basis

Agreed. It's Forever Freddy all over again. I've run into a couple genuinely godawful Legions and Pinheads that barely manage to win with Thana/Jolt/Pain Res/DMS.

That's funny, considering gens are still flying just as fast as always. That 10 seconds is completely negated by multiple survivors doing one gen. I don't think I've had a single game yet where any less than 2-3 gens got done except for a single game on Midwich, which I lost horribly on because it's a garbage map and survivors can loop you for eternity still. Other than that though, every match has had at least 2-3 gens done before I locked in a 4K. (Mostly because Dredge and survivors making mistakes.)

10 seconds did not make the gens go from flying to snails, my gens are pretty much the same.
