Revert DS stun duration back to 5 seconds, please!
This is really my only issue with the last patch aside from lack of solo queue buffs.
But seriously, DS virtually does nothing now, especially against high mobility killers such as Nurse and Blight (killers that do not need to be any stronger).
Disabling during the end game would have been fine if the stun duration stayed at 5 seconds, but now with a 3 second stun, it's worthless.
I propose, like a lot of others have, revert it back to 5 seconds, but keep it disabled during the end game. I think that is a fair trade off.

i always like gradual nerfs instead of hammers.
While I think DS is still good enough against M1 killers it is really bad against ranged killers or high mobility ones.
IMO they could have added the end-game bit and then just waited till the next patch to nerf it a bit more if it was still too strong.
Only perk i agree on dropping a nuke on was DH.

It would become a commonly used perk again. The goal of the meta shift is to make sure that no perk is more dominant then the others. You're just going to have to switch up your playstyle unfortunately. I'm sorry.

making perks bad just for the sake of making them bad is not a good reason to balance them.
I still think DS is usefull but i dont know why their approach was this weird. If you want to make all perks roughly the same strength you gradually decrease their power and gradually increase the power of bad perks.
if you just hyperbuff them or hardnerf them you will NEVER make all perks viable/equal in power
just look at new OtR. They hyperbuffed it and now it s Meta. great. ig they ll just cycle through perks that way?
its just not a good balance philosophy if your goal is to make perks equal in power.
again i reiterate that i think new DS is still good to use, but i prefer them not nerfing perks doubly. 1 nerf after another.
ig this all just comes back to unevenly spaced balance patches.
Wish they did small adjustments to perks every month or 2 weeks. It s really not that hard to increase or decrease numbers.

I had no problem with DS in game. It should be back to 5 secs.
The only real annoying thing was it when the gates are open and you know you can´t pick the surv up because of DS and he escapes.
But as it is deactivated in endgame it could go back to 5 secs.

wholeheartedly agree, the only nerf it needed was the deactivation during end game, because end game should be an "any tactic goes" time for the killer since there isn't any other objective to defend and tunneling/camping is to be expected/unpunished

Honestly no issue with DS being 5 seconds, if they want to go in a locker and force me to grab them jokes on them, I'm going for the one who unhooked if I'm nearby anyways when the unhook, if not I'm probably already on my way to another gen.

Yeah, with camping and tunneling now stronger than ever, the duration should be at least 5s. I've seen people DS being used only for the survivor to be tunneled out of the game 10seconds after.
I wouldn't even mind if it was treated like a hook state (removing deep wounds and exhaustion) as long as it's off during endgame.
I'd also be for OtR stacking with the basekit BT, since I don't think it's fair that if the killer hits you right at the hook and decides to tunnel you that your antitunnel perks are basically disabled.

Who cares if it's commonly used ? If they refuse to fix camping/ tunneling and even buff it even more they really shouldn't touch DS at all, game is already boring as it is the main strat for most killers is tunnel/camp the first person out...

Then that's an issue with the game design. The games central mechanics should be looked at rather than a perk fixing it.
