Servers all but Ignored by BHVR

Why is there such a poor state of servers for the game? I mean seriously. This has been going on for literally years. For anyone new, this is called getting "Dedicated Servered". I can't remember the last time I played a game with dedicated servers and they were this bad. I'm not even going to harp on optimization, because that's a different beast.

  • -Rubberbanding has been an issue since BEFORE 5.7
  • -Terrible server response(ie: dropping a pallet and it not dropping despite the prompt)
  • -Low(70s) ping lobbies, 110-200ms spike in game/as the count down starts.
  • -VPN users from countries 30k miles away aren't helping lag/game experience
  • -Server hiccups and you get stuck in place/cant move until downed/Killer stuck in place, games lost
  • -Unable to pick up survivors until you try 6-7 times, just gets stuck in pickup animation and you stand back up(survivor doesnt DC)

We have minimal acknowledgement from BHVR about 75% of these issues.. Its legit no wonder people DC out of frustration.

    It's really obvious they're renting dollar store servers. Just the cheapest you can get.

    I agree and they also haven't added new servers in different areas like East Europe or Middle East. Playing Dead by Daylight on +80 ping is like playing other games on +150 ping.

    I've literally downed survivors using the new dead hard. They'll be in dying state then rubber band and run off.


    I hate these servers with a burning passion lol

    Whats actually funny about that is they are probably on their end screaming and in a full blown panic because they thought they were dead lmao

    Since the beta, I have officially retired from DBD. I can't take the lag and poor management of DBD by BHVR. Yeah sure some things they've released have been super neat. But the glaring issues and things that have taken years to fix show their priorities being completely screwed up. I have given suggestions till I've turned purple but they don't listen to the community much.

    The way they treat DBD is like someone getting a dog and kicking it while they pet it. But its not my dog and I can't do anything about it, so I have to move on no matter how salty i am about it. But i will still watch a few streamers and give suggestions. I just can't stomach playing the current state of the game. I want DBD to be better than it is.
