Lethal Pursuer only consumes 1 Distortion stack
From my understanding, despite Lethal Pursuer lasting only 9 seconds, it now benefits from its own secondary effect of extending aura reading by 2 seconds.
9 + 2 = 11 seconds of aura reading. Distortion, a perk that blocks auras, only lasts 10 seconds. This leaves 1 extra second for Lethal Pursuer to consume a second Distortion stack.
Despite this, in the video below, my friend with Lethal Pursuer only consumes a single Distortion stack.

From what I have seen playing, aura's aren't active during their duration, they are triggered in an instance and then the effect is carried out. For example if a killer is running BBQ and you are in a locker, you can still jump out while BBQ is active, you just needed to be in the locker while it activated. So the duration doesn't matter, as long as that player has a token at the activation of lethal or BBQ, it only eats one stack.

What the above user said. No matter how LONG the aura read is, Distortion consumes a token at each individual instance of killer aura readings triggering.

Then it makes no sense for Distortion to be a limited time per token. Lethal is bugged and is supposed to be 11 seconds but it's only 9 currently. If there's only 1 Token and an aura would reveal it for longer than 10s, Distortion would not be able to block it completely.

While we're at it, Vanity Mirror on Myers doesn't stack with Lethal.

Distortion blocks the aura reading for the entire duration that their aura is read. The 10 seconds you are referring to are for the survivor's scratch marks. Scratch marks are not left by the survivor for 10 seconds (at tier 3) after the killer attempts to read their aura.
So if the survivor's aura is read 1 time, and 1 token is consumed, then it seems to be working as intended. The duration of Lethal is simply longer by a second than the duration a survivor's scratch marks are hidden.

This is not true at all. Distortion will consume 2 tokens if the aura reading lasts longer than 10 seconds.
The problem here is that Lethal itself is bugged and is only lasting 9 seconds, instead of 11 like it’s supposed to.

No, skills like Lethal and BBQ trigger one time they don't retroactively continue to apply the aura reading for the duration. The aura reading from Amanda's letter and Wraith's addon continually search for auras, that is why they eat through stacks so quickly.

Well it's not supposed to. Lethal extends the time an aura is revealed when the aura is revealed for a certain time, but vanity mirror is proximity based, not time based.

Well I just double-checked earlier and tested Distortion vs. Retribution in a custom match and 2 tokens were consumed. So it definitely does continue to apply for those 15 seconds. This whole idea of "only 1 token is consumed for a timed aura reveal regardless of its duration" is just wrong and I have no idea where it's coming from.

Comes from you being able to hide in a locker during BBQ and jump out during its duration and still not have your aura shown.

What about that: back days Distortion was buffed from8 seconds to 10 when Lethal came to the game, because Lethal used to ate 2 stacks right away.(EDIT: I tried to check history but didn't find that. I remember Distorion was less than Lethal and was adjusted... maybe I just remember wrong, sorry)0 -

To me, it seems like that means that any time a survivor's aura would be revealed to you, it would continue to be revealed to you for two seconds after it would normally stop being revealed. It doesn't say that it only applies to effects with an explicit timer.

I have lost 2 distortion stacks to lethal pursuer since the update, so this is definitely inconsistent.

What duration is there to extend? You can't extend the duration of you pressing the stalk button

I figured it'd activate when the stalk button was released and reveal the aura for another two seconds.

I don't think it's relevant. By the time the killer can see your aura they will have already gone to one of the players who they saw and aren't going to be near you. I think it's fine but major kudos and props for figuring that out. I use distortion every game now and am amazed at how often I notice it proc due to lethal, and will be keeping this in mind.
