Make the aura reading map wide and increase the healing to 30%.

Sure! It should at least be faster than Leader, considering you’re the one running it for your teammates’ sakes (and Leader boosts other actions).

Empathetic Connection has a healing buff?? I agree- it needs to be map wide to upgrade it from an almost useless to a bad perk.

imo its an insanely useful perk as is.

most survivors will be within your aura reading range unless you're on opposite sides of the map, in which case it would be a waste of time for them to traverse the map to get your heals. and tbh, for the value this perk provides, its worth running Open-Handed

i posted this in another thread:

all information perks bridge soloq and swf.

this is another one of those perks that would really help soloq if it was base-kit so they could stop trying to balance soloq and swf and just focus on it as -survivor-.

although 10% healing buff should not be base-kit. i could see this perk being buffed to like 50% healing speed similar to botany if any form of aura reading was given to survivor base-kit.

Dont buff the healing speed of this perk, I use it with Autodidact and if you increase the healing speed I wont get my stacks. It would be a nerf for me.

But make it map wide yes.

@KayTwoAyy , I love the perk but sometimes find never hooked people bringing The Killer to me, and I'm on death hook, lol It also happens with Aftercare. It sucks when you're running a medic build and want to heal people.

I've heard similar complaints from people running Blood Pact.

I'm grateful to have never encountered this--at least not in a way I perceived to be intentionally malicious.

The perk provides incredibly valuable information. Unfortunately, it is up to other players to make use of that information effectively.

I will say, I have a similar gripe with Kindred. I seem to reach 2nd stage (and even die on first hook) more frequently while running Kindred.

Yeah, that perk too. It is mighty unfortunate when it happens. I love those perks, and it's satisfying when people play around with it and maximize the information.

Bump the range up to 64/96/128 meters, instead of 32/64/96. There’s no reason for it to not be map-wide at tier 3.

The healing speed does not need to be buffed at all though. It’s not meant to be the main appeal and it’s already a very good perk especially if you have another healing perk. Personally I like to run it frequently with autodidact to get stacks, but that’s not the only way to use it. Survivors are sleeping on it imo.
