New Player: Heavily Turned off by "Face-Camping". Some suggestions

So apparently, this is a thing

And this apparently has ZERO counter as the only thing im told is "teammates do gens"

Ok, sure

And what am I supposed to do?

Not play the game at all?

Yeah, no

Imma leave and actually PLAY something else

Considering the community apparently universally views this kinda playstyle as "toxic" and "unfun", as they should

(It literally forces a player into spectator mode with very little counter other than "never get downed, ever, at all", which is even harder against 1-hit down killers

It would be VERY easy to make some minor changes to heavily discourage it

I suggest ONE of the following:

1- When killer remains within X meters of a hooked survivor for Y seconds, the Survivor gets a guaranteed self-unhook with extra endurance and haste than usual

2- When a killer remains within X meters of a hooked survivor for Y seconds, they begin to drain BP

(The entity wants these killers to go out and inflict pain, to kill, not to stand around and watch paint dry)

3- Hook progress stops entirely, when a killer is within X meters for Y seconds

All of the above do NOT activate if the killer is in a chase, to prevent looping a killer around a hook to abuse these systems

I see literally ZERO drawbacks to these additions

Thoughts?
