Range has been fixed. Now the nurse hate needs to stop.
All the nurse hate started happening when her range addons got bugged and now they are fixed and back to normal

Won't happen. Whether she's balanced or not she's just a bucket load of no fun to play against with little player interaction. Outthink her once, she gets a second chance. Outthink her twice, she sighs a bit and then is right on your butt to roll the dice again. It's just an awful gameplay loop and it completely nullifies so much of the game that other killers can't ignore. For example Huntress can still hit you through pallets and windows as Nurse can but she can't hit you through walls or even different enclosed floors. Furthermore Huntress has limited hatchets, Nurse's blink cooldown is basically up always so she doesn't have to resource manage. Yes she's 3.8 speed, but how much does that actually matter when she can travel the distance that she can with her power.
Honestly even if she only had her meme addons forced on her people would still hate it even though she would be awful. The hate towards Nurse is partly balance but also how her gameplay is. Also because she is the best killer, she attracts a lot of toxic try hards which multiply her issues. That's something that can't be helped, but it does explain why as long as Nurse is one of the better killers, the hatred is going absolutely nowhere.

Fixing one problem won't fix all her problems. Some complaints are still valid
I still think her attacks should be special attacks instead of basic ones. In my opinion that's all she needs and she is balanced.

Nurse mains can scream all they want but when a vast majority of the community hates something it gets nerfed and this hatred againts nurse has not been seen since legion came out. if nurse is not nerfed in the next midchapter she'll be nerfed in the next one

A nurse that knows what she's doing is a lame trial. It's only fun when it's a new nurse. There's no feeling of outplay left when her blink can be so unprecise and swing so wide that it doesn't matter.
Tack on the state of tunneling and camping, her ability to utilize exposed perks, the lolDS. She needs to be brought down to size.

There’s 2 viable killers out of a couple dozen, and nurse is almost certainly going to get nerfed into the dirt just like Spirit. Then it’ll happen to blight.
Survivors want 100% chance of escape. Anything that’s actually strong gets complaints of “boring” or “no counterplay” until the devs give in. It’s happened over and over, and nurse is just the latest target.

Survivor-Only players have been crying nonstop for the past 6 years and yet the game is still alive. The game doesn't need Survivors the same way it needs Killers. For every Survivor that quits the game 10 more come, they're really not that important

This game is not balanced. Good SWF players on Discord doing callouts and playing sweaty in public matches, and nurse with her best addons playing cut-throat.
'Toxic' describes those kinds of players pretty well. I've seen much more of the latter than the former.
Using imbalanced mechanics to dunk on the other team who doesn't have anywhere close to your advantage. If that's the kind of game you want to play, go play a single player game. Or, just keep playing dbd cause the devs don't care.

Do you think any Tekken players that do well choose a character in order to give their opponent a chance? No, you would be laughed out of the conversation. Play to win, no one cares about the other side being bad/salty

It can be when it causes a severe lack of enjoyment in the other side and then claiming you aren't responsible for it. Also the game is just not a competitive one, it simply lacks the balance for that so playing to win can be seen as toxic. Besides don't put words in my mouth, I'd rather eat a loss against Hillbilly, a solid Trapper, Nemesis, Huntress etc. then escape against some toxic tryhard wannabe Nurse and there plenty out there who run all the usual perks, addons and still can't land a hit to save their life.
In my case at least winning or losing has nothing to do with it and I play killer more then survivor in any case.

It's called sportsmanship, something the players I mentioned above, and you it seems, have very little/none of.
Bringing up Tekken and fighting games? Lol...? In Tekken the other side can also choose an equally powered character.
Nurse players in dbd, and SWF players who go on coms are choosing OP things to dunk on the opposite team who just must lose.
Full 4-man SWF with coms are the very, very slim minority. A boosted nurse using broken addons? Those come up in I'd say 15-30 percent of games at high mmr.

It doesn’t matter if it’s a small percentage of games. I shouldn’t be put at a disadvantage as killer to make up for survivors who aren’t as experienced. That sounds like a game not worth playing.

It's funny, but I know quite a few people who don't care about the nurse, and don't hate her ... and yet, they are not expert survivors, it happens to us like everyone else to be laminated by a nurse ...
So no, only those who can't stand the fact that a killer is very strong will continue to hate her, and those whose ego can't stand the fact that they can meet someone stronger than them.

Anyone else remember how fun DBD was when nurse was disabled for a month? All these complaints about her started after she was re-enabled again because people realized how unbalanced and unhealthy she actually is for the game

Kinda like how only babies would keep maining Nurse because they can't bully the ugly survivors without blinking and skipping all the 'paddles' in the game?
