Please make Kindred override the black bubble

Hi,
I've run Kindred for a number of games these past few days and it's sad to see that half the time, the killer aura reading is rendered useless by the black bubble that surrrounds the hook for a few seconds. I simply can't see in which direction the killer goes, so that part of the perk is sadly only useful if the killer is camping.
Now, I've run Third Seal, so I know the bubble is very important for blinded survivors to at least know the general direction of where their teammate is hooked.
But is it necessary to make it essentialy erase the aura reading of Kindred ?
A very simple solution would be to make the aura of the killer visible through the bubble.

I'm pretty sure the bubble is bugged, it's supposed to be transparent IIRC

I've had this same thought but never got around to making a post about it. Thanks for doing it. 👍

I feel you, notification bubbles should be transparent, it's so annoying to get Spies from the Shadows cover the survivor i'm chasing in an indoor map.

Or even better, get rid of that annoying black bubble altogether. Not being able to see this swatch of the screen because of that black blotch is kind of annoying honestly. I’m not even sure why it’s there, other than maybe to give survivors in that vicinity more of a chance to run? But that wouldn’t explain why you need the bubble when a survivor is hooked or dies on hook.

bubbles always were like that, hiding auras of whatever perk. I dont think they will change that

But I think that it's fair for the killer to get some camo after a hook. It gives them some time to catch up to cheeky survivors who may be playing too altruistically.

No, it is bugged.
We have a couple of bug reports already. I hope they fix it as i use Kindred as well and it is super annoying not to see the killer.

Yeah, the black bubble has been irritating me lately. Especially when I'm closing in because I want to unhook, but now I lost where the killer went because a bubble took up most of the area I'm looking at.

In some contexts, the bubble is actually useful, which is why I don't necessarily want it gone, just for Kindred be visible through it.
Case in point : when I run Hex : Third Seal, pretty much all survivors are blind, which means that they don't see the aura of the survivor being downed or hanging on hook. So without the bubble, they wouldn't know at all to which part of the map they should go to unhook, which is extremely harsh on them (especially solo queue). The bubble offers a few seconds during which survivors can memorise the general direction in which their teammate was hooked, and still go for the rescue, even if they will likely be less efficient with it.

I could see an indicator being needed in case of Blindness. The one they have is pretty obnoxious though if that’s its only real purpose.

Yes! Its so annoying seeing the black bubble over the aura of the killer when im just trying to determine where they are going and I lose Kindred value. The killer aura should overlap the black bubble of the survivor being hooked.
