can we get some more L4D characters?

i mean. valve will basically allow you to do whatever you want, right? they seem really relaxed as far as crossover content goes (given the period of time where literally everything had either a tf2 crossover or a l4d crossover, like DBD for example). let's see Rochelle or Francis in the game, i think they'd be a lot of fun. or maybe even a L4D killer, i think the Hunter or Smoker would be really fun additions. who cares if l4d isn't new? neither is the ring lol. and i'm by no means saying the ring shouldn't have been a crossover, i'm just saying, you guys seem to do content based on what you want, not based on marketing. so... yeah, i'd love to see left 4 dead go for another spin!

They ARE in the game though, sort of. Each of the original Dead by Daylight characters has an outfit based on the characters from Left 4 Dead. Take a look, you will find them.

For example, here is Ellis, played by Dwight. (Screenshot taken from the Wiki)

I get what you mean but there's no Louis, Coach or Nick outfits so...

Don't like Ellis as a fit for Dwight. The two are not at all similar in personality. I love Ellis in l4d and don't want to use the Dwight skin for him. I think Jake was a better fit.

Jake 'barely' passes for Francis as 'outsiders' but honestly, David was a better fit for Francis and Louis was a better fit for Dwight but I guess they felt it was barely any different between the two in terms of cosmetics and the fact Dwight isn't black and some people get funny about that sort of thing (white people cosplaying as black and vice versa), I personally don't care but alas. Coach doesn't have anyone who resembles him at the time nor now, Jeff is closest but he's not black and Adam well doesn't have Coach's... shape. Nick could definitely be done by Ace and the two are extremely similar in personality to boot.

Meg for Zoey and Claudette for Rochelle work really well.

i mean, i know about the outfits, but like... dressing dwight up like ellis doesn't really put ellis in the game, you know? it's more like an easter egg than it is a character. hell, if dwight had an actual ellis skin like jonathan for steve, then sure. but, he doesn't, so... yeah.

Unless it's like Meg looking like Zoey. That's a pretty damn close match. Until she makes a sound at least. Claudette as Rochelle is also really good. I mean sure it's ultimately the character playing dress up but it's still a good dress up that looks like a passable cosplay. The others just don't work at all for this. Honestly Meg as Zoey and Claudette as Rochelle is better representation of them then Jonathan is of... Jonathan :D.

I mean yeah if I had my way I'd love Ellis and The Witch put in the game, especially if Ellis gets loads of nice cosmetics too. Though honestly if given my absolute preference I'd still rather 'paths not taken' chapter which is basically some killers (Joey/Susie/Rin/Philip) as survivors and alternate killers based on their lore. But Ellis is a close second. Especially if he has voice lines while in lobby :D. 'All these bear traps remind me the time my buddy Keith his hand stuck in a bear trap. Yup. You heard that right, his hand... I mean you'd think that...'

Well, that's also what they did with the new Attack on Titan skins... at least survivor wise. They are not the characters, they are Meg, Dwight, etc dressed as the characters.

... they both already are? As outfits

Imo we dont need the actual characters in the game, pretty sure most players would agree with that

What *would* be nice tho is if we got a nick outfit for ace and a louis outfit for adam

Thays really it tho, and the infected woulfnt make sense at all to be a killer.. so i'll hard pass on pretty much everything you said, its not needed or wanted

    That's a great idea actually.

RE DLC and Silent DLC already have that as Legendary outfits. Ask the Devs to put 7 different outfits and go pay for it you mad lad.

legendary outfits to actually change these characters into the l4d survivors would be a lot of fun. it'd also be very fun to have our first voiced survivor, if only to hear rochelle say "son of a beesting" when she gets hit. #iconic

you could even justify the smoker as a legendary skin for deathslinger i guess. just, y'know, left 4 dead is great and has been part of dbd almost since the start (seriously bill is one of the earliest survivors) i'd love for us to get a second dose

i didn't think second doses really happened, but we're getting a second resident evil dlc. nothing against that, of course, just, if second chapters are on the table... then i'd love to see a little more l4d love.

I highly doubt we'll ever see any legendary outfits as well as any special infected as a killer in this game, since the thing about l4d and valve IPs in general is that bhvr cannot make money off of it, that's why bill + the l4d survivor cosmetics for dwight, meg, claudette and jake is free and bill's tome outfit can only be bought with shards.
