The game is unplayable without DS in terms of tunneling.
DS needs to be buffed to 6.5 seconds. (5 seconds of effective stun after the animation). It is not an option at this point, tunneling is worst than it's ever been, knowing that DS doesn't exist anymore allowed killers to very easily tunnel.
Endurence is fine but at the end of the day it's only an extra hit, and you can completely negate OTR by just hitting the survivor right after hook, then chase again. It's even worse now without MoM working on Deep Wound.
At some point it's time to admit that game design currently encourages tunneling as it's the most effective way to get 4 kills. We can't just count on killers to play fair and play around a game design issue that isn't being fixed.
It needs to be hotfixed right now. Not in a future patch. But right now.

Or you can wait until Reassurance goes live and see what happens.
I do agree they should increase the stun time on Decisive Strike though, probably to 4 seconds which was between where it is now and where it was.

While I'm not against buffing DS's stun time again, I think it's a little too dismissive too quickly to refer to OTR as "just another health state", since it also gives you some pretty dang useful stealth if you can use that speed boost to break line of sight.
On top of really evaluating the options we have, I'd also like to put forward buffing the basekit anti-tunnel measures to give a higher Haste percentage. I think that'd help quite a bit.

imo there are 2 things they could do with DS
either buff it back to 5 seconds OR make it disable killer power for 5 seconds after it activates.
that way high mobility killers like spirit blight and nurse are punished just as hard if not more by DS like all other killers.
This perk is still decent against m1 killers, the problem is that nurse literally can just blink and she doesnt care about it at all. It should affect all killers and i dont mind it being stronger against stronger killers. if you tunnel as nurse have fun waking with 95% movement speed for the next 10 seconds. no empathy from me

I'd rather see changes that incentivize not tunneling instead. Adding a few more seconds to DS isn't going to do anything. Killers who ate DS before the nerf would still eat DS after a buff.

only if you make slugging viable or buff generator defense perks. DS punishes the killer for hooking and killing survivors in the most time efficient manner.

The thing is, eating a DS was a pretty harsh punishment before the nerf.

Last patch they removed one of the biggest incentives to not tunnel. That being the blood points from BBQ.
