Why killers on average gain more points?
Why blood points are not close to be equal?
Even losing as killer is still more profitable in blood points per minute.
I collected this data, to check points per minute. Having less points than 30k was frustrating. Overall it confirms my hypotesis. I play for something between fun and win. Doing solo queues.
Perks I used for survs were not super meta, some combinations of that perks bellow:
Circle of healing, Head on, Exeptionel, Lightweight, Appirsal, Plunders Instinct, Blast mine, Dejavu, Street wise. Flip flop, tenacity, boil over

It's because the killer tends to have more power over the game, most of the time. Even if the survivors "Gen Rush" the heck out of the killer, they will at the very least get chase points, whereas the killer can camp and tunnel one survivor and get a lot of points, the others do to but that one survivor that got camped? Sucks to be you (or me actually, it's 9/10 times me) enjoy your less than 4k BP.

Simply because a killer does more in a game.
Breakable walls breakable pallets breakable generators points for every single hit
Points for hooking points for someone getting healed points for using their powers literally every single thing
survivors naturally have a tone of stuff to do as well but individually they are not usually doing as much as the killer is juggling the 4 people
killer is pretty much in an office buried in paperwork while the survivor is filling a few forms and some times if they just wanna hold M1 fill 1 form the whole game thats doable too
You need a good balance of chases and gens saving and healing to get a good score. Most survivors tho just do 1 or 2 things all game and just about get to 25k if they lucky
because killer is pretty much forced to juggle everything at once they unintentionally do a healthy balance of everything without even trying. Hence more points

Killers are present for the entirety of the match and are always interacting with some kind of objective, even if it's just a chase. Meanwhile survivors can be skulking around evading the killer and not accrue any points for a while.
Killers gain their main objective through increments, each down, each hook, each sacrifice. Meanwhile if a survivor doesn't escape, they lose out on a whopping 7000 BP, it's all or nothing.

It's because as survivor you have less control over the game.
- You might get tunneled all game. This leads to getting a bunch of Boldness points and nothing else.
- You might get ignored all game. This leads to getting a bunch of Objective points if you sit on gens. You have to go out of your way to get points in other categories like doing totems for boldness.
- You might work on gens alone. This game puts too much weight into cooperative actions. You can do 3 gens alone and an exit gate and still not max out the Objective category.
- You might not get unhooks. Short of escaping, the best way for survivors to get bloodpoints is to unhook.
- You might not escape. Escaping is worth 7k points which is a huge swing. If you don't escape you usually are getting less than 2k in the Survival category.
- The killer might have a bad game or AFK. In a game where a killer fails/neglects to injure or hook survivors it can be hard to get Altruism points. This also tends to happen in Plague games.
- Other survivors might not rescue you or sandbag you. This might lead to premature death which has a detrimental effect on your bloodpoints.
Also you didn't run Prove Thyself. That's probably the best perk in the game right now for help survivors earn more bloodpoints be game or PPM.

Killers don't have to fight with their teammates for points.
If one survivor is being chased then they aren't getting scoring points in objective. Likewise repairing gens does not provide boldness.
You also get much less repairing gens by yourself then working on a gen with another survivor. So if everyone does their gen optimally there's less objective score to go around.
Unhooking is the primary way to build up alturism and only 1 person can unhook at a time and you can't unhook while the hook yourself.
Then lastly survival is mainly from escaping so if you die you lose out on a big chunk of points.

There are far more survivors than killers within the population, so they tend to get more bloodpoints to encourage people to play killer more. It still hasn't been enough, so the devs are adding a bloodpoint multiplayer incentive soon to try to get more people to play in the role that has less people signed up. They messed something up last patch and it was doing incentives in the wrong direction, but hopefully they fix that soon.
Also, generally it's more difficult to play killer than survivor. Not saying it's harder to WIN, but that it is more difficult. Survivors only have to worry about escapes gens and saves. Killer has to play a balancing act between gen protection, map pressure, hooking survivors, enduring loops flashlights and pallets, effective chasing, securing kills, and so on. It's a lot more work involved and a lot more pressure hence less people playing them.

Because, after 6 years of this game, BHVR still hasn't balanced score objectives for survivor to where you can earn 40k BP regardless of your actions in the game, with 7k (originally 5k) being literally locked behind escaping, a thing which BHVR themselves want survivors to do less of, so they are literally telling the community "we want you to earn less BP".
Combined with the fact that, compared to killer where all the actions you do give you BP in pretty much every category, with survivor each action provides BP in a single category, you basically earn almost nothing. Chasing a survivor as killer pretty much nets you some BP in each of the category. Compare that to survivor where, if you are being chased, that's just BP in Boldness, if you work on a gen that is just Objective, if you heal survivors and act as the medic that is just Altruism. SO, if you get tunneled all game, you might get a ton of Boldness points, but not much else. And since each category is capped, you might get maybe 10k BP for capping Boldness and maybe a bit in Survival, but not much else.
So that is why survivors earn so much less. You have to basically be doing everything: unhooking, chasing, generators, healing others and, most importantly, escaping. In contrast killers can basically just go around chasing survivors, breaking walls and pallets and using their power, powers which they use in chases anyway, so basically killers get rewarded a ton and rack up those points much faster just by chasing and hooking survivors. So, even if a killer doesn't 4k, you can still get plenty of BP, whereas as survivor, if you don't escape, you literally miss on 7k BP.

I think it's pretty obvious why the killer who is always interacting with objectives/survivors gets more bp than someone who can only do one of their categories at a time and may never even interact with the killer to receive points in one

99% of the reason is survival points.
There bare barely any sources of survival points, but you get 7k for escaping which is 70% of the category.
Instead, you should be like 2k for escaping and everytime a gen pops you should get 750 and another 750 when the end game collapse starts while you are alive. In addition to that, you should get survival points for being unhooked and letting survivors heal you.

Because there is only a set amount of points for survivors before they run out. There are only 8 unhooks, and realistically, only 5 generators. If for whatever reason a good opportunity to get unhook points is never presented, chances are you will get little for benevolence, even if the only way to get it would be travel across a map for an unhook, instead of working on a gen. The game actively rewards survivors for game throwing, and playing highly effectively is actually punishing. This is why I say survivors are not a team. They are competing for points against one another while trying to deal with the killer.

Honestly on top of some things other people said a lot of it is escaping versus dying is a massive 7000 point swing in bloodpoints. On top of which the killer also has a swing of thousands of points per kill. Combined that means if I kill a survivor I’m relatively up about 8000 or 9000 points on them versus if they escaped just based on that one fact. That alone means as a rule of thumb if you escape you get as many or more points than the killer got that match, while if you die you get less.
