Do you think TOXIC behavior deserves REV CAMP?

For myself I don't, it all depends on the mindset of person who is playing, it's not a poll question it's a personal way of thinking.
It's not a wrong thing to do they can play how they wish, I laugh at the edgaralanbro's flex cam every time I see it.0 -
What exactly is rev camp?
3 -
No I don't think it it does deserve that, you're hurting yourself more in points and pride because you threw the whole game for one survivor instead of playing the game normal , he won because he got in your headBuffNurse said:thoughts?
But if I were playing LF and I saw two survivors hook swarming before I can get away from the hook I would anyway , that's just playing it smart when 3/4 of the team are in front of you and won't leave , but by all means if the survivors aren't right there just leave the hook ffs lol it will reward you much better to keep a good pace and keep going for the hooks than to stand there and get gen rushed, it doesn't matter if some people view it as toxic or not , do what wins you the game that's all that matters

Camping is boring and give the team advantages (except the camped one of course). I think a hard tunneling is better.0
-
From a practical stand point no if your goal is to win or get more points. However if i am feeling up to it and i dont care about points or winning i will chainsaw facecamp someone for the lulz.

I had a game where a Meg t bagged me I camped her let her friend get the hatch. After the game told them t bag = camp and then told them they did a good job0

Camping is boring.
More importantly, no behaviour is toxic. Swallowing bleach, that's toxic.1 -
Camping is just a crap tactic for an easy win. The irony is that people have been saying it's detrimental to the killer, but camping the first person to death is basically auto-pip/win nowadays.

With the informations available, it's rather simple to create an excel sheet to calculate your emblem progression. I already did this a few months ago, in case you're interested:
With this sheet you can easily calculate your emblems. You can simulate a match against a camper and see the results they would get.
On top of that, let me show you this short, old clip to demonstrate how flawed the Emblem System is (still up-to-date regarding progression):
3 full sacrifices and one bleed out -> Safety PipIn other words; No, camping doesn't give you an autowin / pip and it seems like you have no idea how the Killers Emblem System actually works.
3 -
Many killers don't care because it means ranking up slower and not getting put with the sweatys as fastn
Besides its fun to camp them and ruin their game. You dont have to hard camp, just stay in the area and tunnel them as soon as they're unhooked. They try to ruin the game for other people by being toxic so you make sure the game is ruined for them instead.
Hopefully at some point they will learn that its not worth being an ass when playing.0 -
if you want to camp, there are perfectly good woods out there to go put up your tent
i agree with others, it is boring....0 -

Nah, hardcore tunnelling is the best. It gives you time to apply pressure and at the same time giving your tunnelling victim a false sense of hope along with feeling like they've been targeted or bullied, which is pretty much what they tried to do to you :]. This yields the most amounts of DCs and a lifetime supply of salt in my experience.Such a lovely approach. I like you

Most of the time survivors laugh at you for camping. So you're only giving them what they want if they were trying to be toxic.

More importantly, no behaviour is toxic. Swallowing bleach, that's toxic. If ones ultimate goal is to play matches with people in them, and every match your ever in has everyone leave because of ones 'toxic' behavior then your original goal is a failure and the consideration of ones understanding of what 'toxicity' is becomes worthy of self reflection and adjustment.

I don't care if people are toxic.
Most of the time toxic people are too focused on bullying and they forget about the objective. Less people on gens, fine by me.0 -

Lets also have points for the killer if they successfully down a t-bagger.
Maybe also deduct a few points for survivors that don't respond to my "hello" t-bag.1 -

I mean they will still be mad, but the whole time you are camping they are telling their friends how bad you are and such, then their friends get away and they throw salt but still laugh because they still kinda won.

Perfect, you just explained what really happens behind the scenes when playing against a SWF.
Thanks.

If you behave like a toxic player against a toxic player then you're not better than him.
P.S.
don't forget that it's a video game after all.
Letting a video game negatively affect your mood means that you have no other stimuli outside of gaiming.
(Obv I'm not reffering to you directly)0 -

(Obv I'm not reffering to you directly)How did you come to that conclusion?
Have you never played Mario Kart on N64 back in the days? Have you never played Tetris against someone else?
Everything in existence can and will affect your mood, it's just a matter whether you allow it or supress it, but at that point the "damage" is already done.
What you just said makes no sense to me. Even this post right here will affect you in. You get triggered because I question your logic or you think I'm just a stupid idiot but either way it affected your mood.

My post was referred to "buffNurse",who create this thread.
I did't even read your post honestly.
If somehow you felt offended by my words I apologize.
it was just my opinion, certainly not an absolute truth.

No no, I don't feel offended at all but I'm just really curious.
I mean if you really manage to not let anything affect your mood while gaming, that's impressive because pretty much everything affects my mood (regardless if it's in a game or elsewhere).
That's why I don't understand the statement that no game should negatively affect your mood. It happens but it obviously makes me want to stop playing that game as a result^^

I used to let myself be negatively influenced by video games
then I began to understand that it was not worth it.
The problem was the lack of external stimuli.
in short, I was too focused on video games that became my only stimulus.
when I started to dedicate myself to something else, I automatically became a chill player (if you know what I mean)why?
because other stimuli (ok I repeated this word 20 times) made me positive and they reduced every kind of frustration generated by videogames (another word that I repeated 20 times

Tunneling > Camping
I hate tunneling way more then a face camp0 -
I got "flex cammed" one time by "popular" streamer EdgarAlan whatever the rest of his name is. Apparently the dude was mad because i used a window on suffocation pit and was the only thing i could utilize considering most of my team wasted all the pallets on the map. Don't see how it's toxic considering it's there for me to use to gain distance, which is what the whole point of this game is.
People like to make rules in this game when their shouldn't be any rules at all besides the one the devs put in front of us. If you want to be toxic go on ahead, utilize whatever you can to get on the killers nerves, get in their head, Make them mad. Do whatever it takes, if the killer "rev" camps you, that is a sign you won, and you managed to make them mad to the point to where they see you as a threat.

I believe he means affecting the overall mood of the day. Like if a bad game left you feeling like ######### and that extends out to the rest of the day, that means you don't have much else other than games to take up your time. If for example you would play like 2 hours, then you'll be going out with friends or going to play a sport for example, the game becomes a tiny part of your life to the point where if you would have a horrid experience you won't be phased at all by it because you have other bigger and better things to do.I see, in that case yes they're right. I meant "not affecting the mood" during the experience, I have no choice but to let it affect me "somehow", for that short period of time it happens.
Like getting dodged 20x in a row as solo Survivor I obviously start to get pissy. Getting flashlight blinded and DS'd several times a match obviously gets me pissed aswell, but naturally that's just a momentary mood.
Pretty normal I guess, otherwise there wouldn't be hundreds of threads here about campers, tunnelers, gen rushers, loopers and lobby dodgers :P ultimately all the result of a negative mood due to ######### gaming experiences.

He didn't rank up? That sounds exactly like what every killer on this forum wants. That clip is useless: It doesn't show the match, just that hardly anyone got any points.

It shows exactly the opposite of what you said, that was my point. Whether I wanted to pip or not is irrelevant, it means your statement was false. If you camp, you won't get "free pips / wins" because it takes a lot more than just a few kills to pip.
