Challenge: Everyone at BHVR has to spend 1,000,000 BP before daily work
I challenge the art teams, the music teams, the dev teams to have to log on to an account that has at least 1 million BP and to spend it before starting your daily work.
This isn't to be vindictive, the goal is to help internalize and understand the pain that is spending BP. Similar to how infinites were finally resolved when McCote internalized just how painful it was to play against the Koreans who looped him for an entire match.
Please, just try it for a week, as a nod to those of us who have played the game for 6 years.
(or skip the exercise and skip right to introducing a buy-all button)
Thank you!

Many of the Dev Team including myself play the game on Live very regularly, believe me we do understand the frustrations that our players feel.
Not everything can be put into the game, we have only so much bandwidth and there's things that will always have to take priority than others.

Thanks for taking the time and responding Mandy. I understand that there are priorities and an endless list of to-dos, I'm an animator for TV and games myself. I'm hoping that by making this a bit more vocal and really spelling it out, that it might shift the priority a bit more in the favor of seeing it happen sooner than later.
It took 6 years to get perk sets. It took about 5 years to get the BP node animation sped up. It took 3 years to get hatch escape prioritized over self-care. It took 2.5 years to get Trapper traps to not be allowed under the hooked survivor. it took 1.5 years to get infinites fixed. It took 1 year for infinites to be acknowledged. I've been playing since the beginning and the one thing that seems apparent is the prioritizing of necessary changes has been linked to how many people speak up and how internalized the issue gets for BHVR's leadership.
So, some numbers:
It's safe to say the average cost per node is now approximately 3000BP per click, per bloodweb with the new changes.
To spend 100,000 BP. You have to click and hold the nodes an average of 34 times. To spend 1,000,000, it takes 340. Each new level generation on the blood web is approximately 2.5 seconds with 1,000,000 BP completing around 50 levels now.
Full attention and optimized clicking means (340 clicks * 0.8sec) + (2.5sec * 50) = 397sec for 1,000,000 BP spent. 6 minutes and 40 seconds is the fastest that bloodweb drudgery can complete to unlock a single character's prestige perks. A full hour at minimum to get six characters to prestige 1.
There are 33 survivors and 29 killers. Despite owning most of those, I've probably let about 50 million BP personally just not get collected when BP is maxed because the bloodweb is boredom incarnate.
The bloodweb might not be universally hated, but it is what keeps the game's primary reward system from actually being rewarding. I can't name a single other game where spending what you've earned is actually a worse experience than earning it in the first place.
So even if nothing comes from this, I appreciate you taking the time.

It doesn't need a giant overhaul just some QOL tweaks. Make it so we can click on an outer node and it unlocks the shortest path to said node would be a huge time saver. Getting rid of or trimming down some animations would help too, namely unwrapping mystery boxes, the title page for each new web, and waiting for the web spread animation on new pages.

I've been playing since 2017. I hate the bloodweb, and I hate the sounds it now makes (with no control over them in the settings even...)
The way that we could click-and-hold in the old system to prestige someone - I really think we should be able to click-and-hold the center of any bloodweb page to auto fill it. Or like people are saying, select the end of a path to auto fill that entire branch.
Bloodweb is one of the worst parts of this game's experience, and spending the currency you earn in a game should absolutely not give this feeling to players. I hope that it gets some love and attention soon.
