there should be limits for SWF

I played against a strong team, non-toxic is important but It's a shame that one offering gave the survivors a huge advantage. This map is categorized as pain (and do not need to say that there is an offering of the Sacrificial Ward)
I didn't camp or tunnel. because I felt that I would lose because of this and therefore I tried to fight to the end and still lost. At the same time, I played no worse than them
You won't understand until you experience the same as me.
The difference between the RNG team and the SWF is HUGE and need to do something about it
That's why i think If you play with friends then:
- ban on choosing an offering map (Or even removed from the game. everything should be rng)
- perks and items should not be repeated
I think this is fair and balances the game against the SWF

Devs don't want to fix maps. Devs like it the way it is because if things weren't as stressful, the blissful moments of winning won't taste as good and you won't get as addicted to the game as they want you to.
Solos really don't need anything other than those action icons and better matchmaking. It doesn't seem like it would be hard to do but they're dragging their heels in the mud for some reason.

It really does seem like the team making the newer maps doesn't have references or notes on bad map balance practices from the past, doesn't it?

Honestly, if I know it’s SWF, I hard tunnel one out. I know his buddies will come for the save immediately and usually in pairs. Just prox the hook, get a trade at the least, but get one out quickly. It’s simply the best way to counter a SWF.

The 4 most recent maps we've had are:
- Midwich
- RPD
- Eyerie
- Garden of Joy
Not including the reworks because I don't know the exact order in which they were reworked, and some reworks were definite improvements.
But something that's interesting is that all 4 of those maps are hated by a lot of the playerbase for promoting stale gameplay and being generally unfun to play on for both sides. It does kinda seem like history is doomed to repeat itself.

Well you were able to get decent points at least so the game was not too bad and you didn't use killer best stragedies taking one out and proxy camping. You have to use them agains't good teams. How many hooks you got? Today I played agains't good swf 5K+ hours each in same map and got only 3 hooks tried not to tunnel first but then the unhooked guy abused bt so I went after him. I got him on second hook. But could not finish the job when they bodyblocked later. I played Oni who is weakest killer in the game literally agains't these type of squads. I got my power once and got last down and hook with it. The match lasted 5 minutes maybe. Should expect biggest gen rush when they used 4 cakes so you should play as dirty as you can agains't these squads. I barely got more than 10K bp and will not play Oni again until he is buffed. I would got my power lot earlier if he was not nerfed in latest patch. These types squads should face nurses with startruck and blights with alchemist rings not me when I play Oni casually.

I understand you friend, but every time I have an idea, or anyone else I see more people pointing out flaws than wanting it to work, if we put together more we could have a better game
One idea that I thought would be interesting, is that the swf had 10 points to put perks in the build, each perk had a point value, example: gen rush and second chance perks cost 5 points, and the other perks have lower values, like if a player uses DH and Prove himself, he would spend 10 points and would only be able to play with these two perks, you know?
this system exists in games like "Home sweet home" AND "vhs", the cool thing about it is that if it had a very strong perk, instead of nerfing them, sometimes it would be enough to leave it with a higher cost, reducing the build size, I think this method would not need to be applied to solo survivors, or they would have more points playing solo

Well map offerings should be removed or at least maps should be fair for both sides. I agree with you but nothing you can do here sadly. Just move on and hope for better game.

The path the devs have been on for a good while now is to raise the solos bit by bit toward SWf level, with the goal of it not mattering if you go solo or not.
Whether any think that is the correct course or if the changes made have been successful is another thread entirely. So long as that's the end goal they won't limit or debuff SWF in any way.

I’ve never heard any killers complain about Midwich. It’s a very killer-sided map. I haven’t heard survivors complain about it either but it’s still a killer-sided map. Beyond the main building at Eyrie, that one is killer-friendly too. Just like Dead Dog (strong main building, weak outskirt tiles).

The gaps between a team of 0 items and a team with 4 Ranger, Syringe should not exist. Given both team have equal skill & perks
Items should have only 1 version (Brown) and act like survivors' power. They are free, but nerfed and requires addon to work. You only need to buy addon.
The best Medkit you can get here is double charge addon to self-heal twice. Or A heal with Styptic / Syringe. While free 8 charge default Medkit can come in handy at saving time healing teammate.

How do we properly limit what a swf can do without hurting what a solo can do. What sucks right now is that killers cant swap their pick like they used to in a lobby so your basically stuck with your pick. Killers have lost a lot of their threat and they havent said if they are working on a fix for it or not. I used to play both sides but as killer became more annoying to hunt it somewhat lost its charm same with most of my friends as its not really a fix that any perk could solve. DBD imo honestly needs to be looked at through people who balance for tournaments and competative matches and maybe a lot of proper balancing could take place. Some killers need setup time where as others can rush right in stompin their adversaries. I know this game isnt a tournament focused multiplayer its just that its gotten a bit stale with how imbalanced it can be at times which I truely hope itll find that again. I just think that maybe BHVR could use a 3rd pair of eyes to change things

Map offerings definitely need to go, but BHVR needs to promise to have ALL maps on 50% priority. NO MORE INCREASED MAP PRIORITY FOR CERTAIN MAPS OVER OTHERS. Tired of getting spammed Midwich, Lery’s, Game, & Wrecker’s Yard. All these maps in the game and i keep getting sent to the same 4 all year. Leave it to pure RnG.

didn't even realize map priority was a thing, i always just assumed maps with a single realm had lets say a 10% change while individual maps with from realms with more than one map were like 5% 3% ect.

He's not if you don't get your power your just m1 with nothing he was decent when you got duoble blood orbs but now he is easy to counter for good squads with broken maps and holding W and pre dropping pallets.

I dont think so, usually Solo dont invest on item/addon because they afraid rate quit/dc teammate would make their item/addon wasted. Usually only swf would bring them (4 BNP, 4 Ranger, key...)
The change would nerf down swf more than Solo if you limit op item/addon.
If you think my idea of item only affect casuals but not good players (solo), I also dont think a bad survivor can ever make use of Ranger + double charge/speed anyway.
For me, instead of bring in a current Medkit (3000 BP), I would bring my version Medkit + a Brown charge addon (3000 BP), pretty much the same thing.

You know before you could complete gen with brand new part and toolbox lasted whole gen. Itema are fine and don't need changes. If we remove them all killers add ons should be removed as well and only leave brown ones. And this would make the game just more boring.

I would like to make addons stronger. But survivors can bring either Brown Medkit or Ranger (no addon), its something like Trapper can spend more BP to make his default traps stronger without using 2 addon slots.
If you look again at my suggestion, the best Medkit a survivor can bring is either
- Double charge addon to self-heal twice
- 1 heal with Styptic / Syringe
while the minimum they can bring is half-healing to save your teammate 8sec to do Gen instead.
Currently the best Medkit a survivor can bring is 3 heals with Styptic / Syringe. And its possible to multiplied by 4. You dont see these kind of Medkit when playing Solo, mostly Swf.
I only suggest to make the gaps of item/addon variations between the weakest (no item) and strongest (4 ranger, +16 charge, syringe)
You can win against no item team, but lose to the other team, despite they have the same skill. You dont lose to them because you're out played, you lose because they out invest you.

Same applies killer you can bring your strongest add ons and win but lose if you don't if we remove or rework survivor same whould be done the other side as well.
