If you can buff Lightweight, why can't you buff Technician?
It's been years since you buffed Technician. Why not make it harder to visually see the generator being repaired e.g. when the survivor is connecting the wires and ends up making flashy lights but with Technician, that would reduce it visually. It should also prevent crows from being alerted when you repair a gen.

In my opinion, in addition to the current effect, the skill check for generator repair should be centered on the Great's range, similar to the current Wiggle skill check.
This would allow beginners to go for the Great without missing more skill checks.

I mean I agree technician should be buffed but lightweight and technician aren't related

I just think they need to take away the 3% penalty for missing a gen and that's about it. I think it's just meant to be a beginner friendly perk and that's alright.

I don't really see the connection between Technician and Lightweight's buffs, but I agree that it should be buffed.
If nothing else, they reallllyyy need to get rid of the extra regression penalty. That makes it basically useless unless you want to troll your teammates.

So much this. A baby player who brought Technician because they can't hit skill checks is basically an enemy NPC to the rest of the survivor team (and don't get me started on the deliberate trolls.) Doesn't matter if your skill checks are silent when you're causing the gen to take 150 seconds - the killer's going to patrol and find you anyway.
It's Calm Spirit tier. It's a nerf masquerading as a perk. It's really weird to me how Bite the Bullet was the same design idea applied for healing, but a better perk in every possible way, and they've opted to leave Technician in its current sad state.
It's a perk meant to help beginners. It should make failed skill checks less punishing, not more.

The problem is, survivors seem to get beginner friendly/trash tier/meme perks too often. And what happens when experienced players want to change up their build.. but it doesn’t make too much sense because the perk is geared towards new players? This perk type hinders build diversity in the long run.
Technician would be amazing if it prevented all aura reading on the generator the user was working on. At least for the user, if not for all teammates as well.

I want them to bring back the revving noise partially for technician to silence it.

Just make it Bite the Bullet but for generators. There, the perk does something.

that's true, I kinda thought about that as well.
