The problem with the Bloodweb (VIDEO)

I hope the community and BHVR can see why this is a problem and they can find a solution soon. It's a boring, repetitive and time consuming task.

The solutions I can think of:

1) Remove the mistery box popups.

2) Have the options of no animations when buying stuff, just click and buy, instantly, no animations at all and no "holding a button for 1 second".

3) Remove the animations for the level, every time you consume a level there's an animation presenting you with the next level number, like "26" or "47". Maybe that could be replaced with the number in the middle of the bloodweb, so it can be seen clearly without the need to show up every time (even though we already see the number on the top of the screen so there's no point in announcing it every time).

4) The prestige animation should have an option to be skipped, it's nice, but sometimes I prestige while I'm in a lobby and the match is about to start and I want to go back to my main survivor before the match starts, and there's no way to skip that prestige animation that lasts for several seconds.

5) An autobuy button. I know this could be a tricky one, so I left it as a last suggestion, maybe just removing animations is way easier than an autobuy algorithm, but this would be the best solution eventually. I mean, why do I even have to manually buy the first 9 levels of any bloodweb if the entity is not awake? I'm going to buy them all anyway.


I hope we can have a good quality of life update for the bloodweb, right now as it is it's the most tedious part of the game.

    I just want Autobuy option. It would highlight you all nodes that it would instantly buy for you and also show you price.

    You either buy it like that, or you do it manually if you dont like it skipping some add ons you need in it.

    I never agreed with the grinding reduction but it was unpopular opinion.

    You often already were able to buy more thing than the ones you spent, you already had to stay a lot on the blood web, you already reached a point, not that far, where you have countless iri stuff, more than you can use.

    Now ultra rares aren't rare at all, i can play always with double iri and mori if i want, no issue, this is the reason why at high level survs always carry the best toolbox or the best medikits and the killers are always with their best addons.

    Now, if you play every day you have to stay 15 minutes to burn the BP or you reach the cap.

    For what? Because people wanted to be able to have every perk on every character? Was that mandatory? If you wanted that you had to grind a lot and this was fine in my eyes, only a minor part of the players, the hard grinders, were able to always carry the best equipment. Now everyone is.

    What is the point in growing and collecting stuff if, after 2 months you are playing you have everything and you start collecting infinite doubles? Dunno. The only change i liked was the cap moved from 1M to 2M. I do not even understand why there should be a cap.

    I just want a button that automatically buys everything. If there is something i want in the bloodweb ill do it manually but otherwise give me that button!

    Yes, it would be nice an "autobuy the rest". Let's say you're presented with a bloodweb, you get a perk you're interested in and a flashlight. You buy both and then "autobuy the rest".

    What's even the point of manually buying the first 9 levels of any bloodweb if the entity is not even fighting against you for items?

    I can actually see that the grind reduction is there. I see it every day with my survivors, it is definitely waaay easier to unlock perks at Tier 3. Yes, there is still a grind, but it has clearly been reduce it. I was also skeptical when it was announced (I always thought removing perk tiers was the solution) but even thou there is still a grind, it's way better than what it was.

    The problem now is the bloodweb, it's too slow, it requires you to be for 20 minutes in front of a screen clicking stuff, that's the most opposite of "fun" I can think of. Spending 2M bloodpoints should take you, at best, 5 minutes.

    T3 perks are not an issue in my opinion. I UNDERSTAND a player wants all of them to play all the possible combinations!

    The issue is: the game was made with limited resources you can burn in order to have some advantages during the game: addons, equipments, offerings....

    Some are better than the others, you can't always use the best tools because they are limited.

    Now, all this part is pointless, why should i ever use a brown TB when i have 200 yellow? Why should i use a yellow when i have 50 green? The issue was the perks were in the same bloodweb with depletable resources. In order to make all the perks accessible to everyone now the addons, the offering and the equipments are infinite.

    And now the same streamers that complained about the grinding (when they already had infinite stuff, they complained about the grinding because was easy and popular), now they complein that in high MMR every surv is carrying commodius or purple medkits with syringe.

    .... i honestly preferred how it was before....

    I agree that the distribution of items is somewhat wrong, people having a million of brown addons/items is not ideal. What I'm talking about is mostly perks unlocking, it's waaay easier with the new update and it does feel like the grind has been reduced.

    Is it perfect? By no means, but I don't agree with "i honestly preferred how it was before". I guess we have different views on this one, I think the grind could and should be perfected but at least it's better than before.

    Still, this post is about the bloodweb speed, not really about the grind. I think they're two separate issues.

    It really needs to stop with the whole rng based stuff. Little over 700k BP and not once did I get the add-on I wanted.

    Along with those changes it'd really would make me care about it more.
