The Coolest DBD Licensed Killer Idea That No One Thinks About (But They Should!)
Phantasm is a bit of a niche franchise compared to other licenses in this game but I’ve always had a lot of admiration for it. I made this post to kinda try and get people interested in The Tall Man, literally the most underrated horror villain.
Without being super spoilery in case you’re interested, The Tall Man is a sadistic inter dimensional being who goes from town to town, world to world, stealing corpses and killing the population in order to turn them into dwarf like creatures that do his bidding. He barely speaks, and prefers to emote through his facial expressions.
As far as abilities go, he’s ludicrously OP. Superhuman strength, telekinesis, shapeshifting, immortality, teleportation, can even duplicate himself using alternate universe copies of himself. You probably only recognize him for his Sentinel Spheres, which are sentient and are a Swiss Army knife of weapons like knives, drills, saws, lasers, etc. There’s a Reddit thread here that goes WAY more in depth (some stuff that I didn’t even know about).
I hope this gets you interested in the series and The Tall Man character, and maybe someday we’ll see him in game. I already know some might say he’s too stronk for DBD but that means that there’s more opportunities for power ideas. He will surely get nerfed in the transition but he could be fun!

I watched a horror youtuber I enjoy break down these movies once, and even that limited of an exposure alone was enough for me to wanna see this license come to DBD.
No idea how feasible it is from the business side of things, but there's gotta be a lot of groundwork for the gameplay and perks.

Phantasm for DBD is very much a real possibility since Don Coscarelli (The creator of the franchise) has come out on twitter and said that he is open for a video game adaptation of Phantasm, in other words it's pretty much up to BHVR if Phantasm is to join DBD or not and since the franchise is rather niche they are less likely to approach it since they don't know if it'll make enough money, however if we make enough noise about it's inclusion then it could very much end up becoming a reality, check it out

I watched Jurrasic World Dominion last night and the pond scene with the Therizasaurus struck me as a fascinating killer idea. We don't really have any jungle type realms nor any creature/animal type killers. The Freddie Kruger style monster that silenty crept up on the deer and then the main character would make for an imposing addition imo.

Mm i think Theri is too big to be a killer. Tell you what though indoraptor would make an amazing killer, right size, bio engineered for intelligence so would be capable of understanding the entities demands.

If we have a Demo, then yes, the Indoraptor would be phenomenonal, as you say its engineered to be intelligent and to hunt. Theri did seem a little large so would have to be scaled down somewhat.
