What about giving killers Deerstalker with the new basekit buffs?
Its not a hugely impactful perk and I feel it might be a lil bit of a compensation for it especially on certain killers where finding the guy you downed can be a pain coughcough twins cough. Then have tenacity buffed to also hide your aura on the ground. I mean in general its just a nice thingy to have and not hugely powerful and it can help a bit with losing an accidental slug. Thoughts?

4m would be nice, anymore should be the realm of the perk or another effect.

At the very least, a basekit deerstalker would allow bhvr to ignore the "silent on the ground" bug

I'd be cool with that if we could actually rework it to something that could work as... an actual stalking perk.

4m Is like next to nothing. Thats pretty much seeing them on the other side of a wall if your right next to it and thats the only useful case of it.

Yes, but it is close enough for most times where you can hear them but can't see them due to tall grass or low walls.

Please ! I'd love to not have to waste 20 seconds looking behind which bush that Yui is.
I feel like there really isn't any strategic reason not to give this quality of life to killer. The perk on its own is useless right now.
If the perk was to be reworked with the new basekit UB, maybe it could give slightly faster bleeding out to downed survivors, that way if you're forced to slug that would reduce their possible base UBs from 5 to maybe 3.

Personally i advocate for not going through with (like increasing the time from 45 seconds to 80 or higher), or heavily nerfing the basekit self-recovery rather than developing the idea.
How dying state works in the game right now is fine. The only problem is when killers bleed survivors out to ruin their experience.

Better than nothing. It's still a bad change since you have an entire group of killers who are meant to slug and snowball but it might be okay then
