Built-in Unbreakable. Please Read.

As a survivor main nothing bothers me more than being slugged indefinitely. Especially if i am slugged and the other remaining survivor is killed while I'm down. I know this can be prevented if I use Unbreakable, but hear me out. Unbreakable is a great perk to get out of a sticky situation but the chances of fully recovering are almost as low as your chances of unhooking yourself (without luck add ons or perks).

Survivors are in the dying state for a total of 240 seconds. It would be nice if after 80 seconds you automatically recovered to injured. However, this would only work if the downed survivor is recovered to 95% or the last survivor in the trial. This wouldn't break the game or dramatically shift game balance.

Sometimes higher ranked killers will slug a survivor until the DS timer has expired, but they aren't standing over the downed survivor. Killers will usually hunt down another survivor. If the killer returns after the DS timer expires, there will still be an additional 20 seconds before the survivor would recover automatically.

I do understand that this mechanic could be abused throughout the trial, especially in the mid game (1 or 2 gens remaining). Maybe this would only come into effect after the first or second survivor has been killed/ sacrificed. I think built-in Unbreakable would be a great addition to the game.

But that's just Food for Thought.

Ooh, or once a survivor has been slugged for more than 60 seconds, the exit gates are automatically powered and opened and everyone is healed to healthy.

BAD KILLER, no doing anything survivors don't like!

@CalamityJane I don't understand why you feel the need to mock anyone else's idea. Killers could simply pick up the survivor, be hut with DS, and the chase again. It has less to do with a survivor main crying about being slugged and more to do with a mechanic that could assist survivors with selfish teammates or with teammates that aren't able to pick you up because they're being chased, killed, or down themselves. The mechanic I'm suggesting can be countered if the killer had deerstalker, stridor, bloodhound, or any aura reading abilities. I appreciate your post but feel its a bit inappropriate in a place where the developers are asking for suggestions or ideas for changes from the community.

I'd like this more if the timer was 120 seconds, 80 seconds is a bit too little, and I can see survivors abusing that and not picking up downed team mates.

Of course, if this change was made, a secondary objective is necessary.

    Great idea though.

Instead of survivors stop doing that generator and give you what is it a 0.5 second tap to get you on your feet?

Why should survivors not rely on teamwork?

I don't think this would work. Infinite unbreakable is way over kill.

@MusicNerd_TC True. A longer timer would probably make it more balanced. I only chose 80 seconds so it would be doable 3 times. But 2 is enough. Maybe Unbreakable could reduce the time it takes to get up in addition to its current ability.

@PlzDontStabMe I understand how having it as a baseline ability could be broken and extremely OP. Maybe this could only be a base mechanic once there are only 2 survivors left or once the exit gates are powered? Maybe this could only be an endgame mechanic?

@Kalinikta Survivors should rely on teamwork. That goes without saying. However, I've been in countless games where instead of healing, they will crouch on the far end of the map and do nothing until I'm hooked or the killer finds them. This could help when your "team" isn't playing as a team.

The problem of survivors not working together as a team, is not the killers issue and they should not be punished because your teammate abandons you. You and your team are those that are punished for not helping you out and that is how it should be. If you want to be fully self reliant, it will cost you a perk slot.

How would it be OP to be able to recover without any assistance from the dying state as a baseline ability? Euhm... because you remove the requirement for your teammate to show up, they can be doing something else in the mean while and all that.

You realize that if you are being slugged by the killer it is so they can put pressure on the team and this would be drastically reduced if they can rely on you picking yourself up.

Thank God this base unbreakable is coming sick of of getting killers with lil 2 inch peckers that slug all the time because they suck about time this happened it's been going on since hatch changed I play both side before anyone jumps in but but unlike the 2 inch gang i dont see the point in slugging it's just boring.
