How Can Myers be Buffed (seriously)?

If you believe Myers deserves a buff (or even a rework or a nerf), what needs to change about him for you to feel he's a viable and balanced Killer?

If you can't think of a solution, but still think he needs some work, what are the problems you have with his design?

    The problem is that people can't bring themselves to slug heavily with him, so they think his power sucks.

    I see a lot of Myers players waste time and give up pressure by stalking, popping the power, and hooking the survivor they downed immediately. They usually run out of time before getting more than one other down max; doing this is the equivalent of not using the power at all and just M1ing all the time in terms of macro play.

    He's genuinely fine the way he is. Here are some changes that could help him, though:

    1. Memorial Flower base kit because it does take too long to tier up base
    2. It's annoying the game won't let you stalk if the survivor is behind certain tiny obstacles like bushes and desks
    3. Stalk through corn

    If the infinite picking yourself up update goes live, he'll need real fundamental changes.

    Any buffs like this even if helpful by themselves would need to not apply when any of the 2 ultra rare addons are used. Meyers can't be buffed until these addons are changed. Or any buff to him must be excluded when these addons are in game

    his default base-kit is instant down is charge up then slug two survivors then hook as tier 3 expires. he is m1 killer, so figuring what improving m1 killers is like trying figure out what would make all m1 killer effective at the chase. Its more that you can 1vs1 his evil within 3 by using pallet correctly on strong survivor maps and avoid his tier 3 instant vault gimmick entirely by avoiding window loops.

    one can argue that his problems are that survivor-side maps are too strong or that killer's base-kit for chasing is too weak. perhaps if they gave him coup the grace base-kit in tier 3. His tier 3 give him the boost in chase to any dropped pallet as m1 killer.

    Soon, slugging will be a thing in the past once the survivor receives base-kit unlimited breakable with no downsides.

    • Readjust addons to have effects unrelated to his tiers. Unless its the mirrors.
    • Multistalk
    • Regenerating evil or
    • Slower but infinite evil gain on emptied survivors.

    Something like that.

    Aome people were slso discusding if he should be able to swap between t1 and t2

    I'd say the Tombstone Piece is the only really problematic one, although Judith's Tombstone is still dumb because it does the same thing, just harder.

    Is infinite tier 3 that OP, though? I genuinely think the add-on makes Myers a B-tier killer. He has to spend a significant time stalking to become a Bubba that is better at Windows and worse at pallets mid-match.

    The combo of the two iris is stupidly unfair in solo with the right build, but I don't think it's that good vs. good survivors because it has its counters; the thing is, not a lot of survivors know them.

    I'd say it's an issue of map design, for the most part. He could use small buffs to tiers 2 and 3 like that even longer lunge idea, but fixing the maps would be enough, and not just for him but for other weaker killers.

    t3 20% faster pallet break (does not stack with BS)

    t3 50% decreased (does not stack with Enduring)

    t3 myers can now walk through walls (1s)

    survivors stalk progress resets over time

    Try to get that last survivor from hook at endgame. If you got 1 during trial (not that impossible) and have anyone on hook at endgame, it's already 2k.

    I mean it's not like nurse or blight. But by buffing his base kit he can quickly become too much. Judith's ofc is just too much with any basekit buffs.

    Also both iri addons are hard (not impossible mind you) to play around already even in SWF when you know all the tricks (and places where he can and can't stalk and lockers and all). Again - basekit buffs would make it way too much. Or delete perk "play with your food" - after that you can buff his basekit a little.
